I have no affiliation with the project, but shorter validity is theoretically more secure. So, no, it's not about the price. That said, if the above was not the case and I was pulling off a scam this elaborate, I'd not hesitate to cough up a few bucks to cover my tracks. I'm also interested in Selfkey's market cap. Coinmarketcap's data seems not yet updated to reflect the correct value. There seems great interest in this coin with that 2400 BTC volume. |

I read that Circulating Supply is 2M coins So if we consider price 0.05$ right now its about 100M$ total Thats quite an amazing start for such a small scale Token Sale. Also KEY seems to withstand the bears better than most other coins/tokens right now. Baptism by fire for KEY - and then moon |

SelfKey does have several competitors in the space, such as Civic. Civic is currently valued at 140 million dollars, and while this does mean SelfKey will be coming out of the gates at a much lower valuation, it also portends to a time and first-to-market advantage in the favor of Civic. Secondly, there is THEKEY, which is a Chinese project and upcoming ICO which will also be a challenger for SelfKey, adding additional competition for SelfKey to overcome. Let's see who from this triplet break out in front of!
