Hello thank you for your message,
At CoinPoker we will be using new blockchain technology to ensure transparency of the game and a crypto currency called CHP (CHiPs) which will make payment processing almost instant. It is a whole new world when you are not familiarized with this kind of technology, but it will be the future of poker, come to mainstream, and hopefully reunite all poker markets again. I invite you to review our White Paper for full explanations of these concepts: https://coinpoker.com/downloads/coinpoker-whitepaper.pdf

As we are reviewing your project on icocritic.org We have some questions.

Firstly, As we saw you using deposit system. Why? Why you dont use instant payments, where smart contract will keep all funds during a game/tournament?

As we are reviewing your project on icocritic.org We have some questions.

Firstly, As we saw you using deposit system. Why? Why you dont use instant payments, where smart contract will keep all funds during a game/tournament?

All our in game transactions will be internal (not using blockchain), because current ethereum transactions (meaning each action on the table) is costly and speed of them doesn't allow to make decent playable fully decentralized poker. Therefore, we are choosing more realistic model based on cryptocurrency, with fully transparent (also decentralized) RNG and intelligent fairplay security and fraud systems.
Blockchain will be used by our poker server, to put RNG (random number generator) results on it, so that players could see and validate them (you can find more information at our white paper: https://coinpoker.com/downloads/coinpoker-whitepaper.pdf, at section 1.4. "RNG transparency on Blockchains").

We hope it is more clear now on how CoinPoker will work.

Hello, very intresting project!

I have some questions,

1, Will the unsold tokens be burned?

2, Will you launch more backround themes?

3, What is the difference from you if i compar to example https://www.betcoin.ag/poker where you can play with bitcoins and get 4% rake and some bonuses?

I really like the thing that 25% is going back to the community every month but is it not better to set the rake on like 3 to 3.5 % to be the lowest one?

I think that would attract more players otherwise very good client and all the functions that a poker player want on a site.

Looking forward to invest!

Have a couple of questions (sorry I didn't read the whitepaper yet), how much rake % will be paid on cash games and tournaments? There will be a rakeback program or only that 25% thing?

I've been waiting for a legit blockchain based online poker project. Best of luck to you and your team. Some questions:

1) Do you have any plans to issue CHP tokens on NEM's blockchain? I'm a fan of ETH but feel NEM would be a better platform for this project.
2) How can we participate in the pre-ICO via NEM as indicated on your website? SpectroCoin currently does not allowe NEM deposits as your website suggests.

Hello thank you for your message,
Yes, all unsold tokens will be burned.
As for background themes, the app is only at its Beta version so there will be a lot of improvements based on what the players want to come in the future. Our crypto-currency will be called CHiPs (CHP) and will use Ethereum smart contracts.  We will take into consideration your suggestions regarding rake vs 25% back to the community and please let us know if you have more questions!

Hello thank you for your message,
We will offer very competitive rake with cash games raked @4% with certain caps adjusted for different limits.
As you pointed out, CoinPoker will use a Blockchain based community reward system to transfer each month no less than 25% of tokens collected via the smart contracts back to the community, so it will insure that the recreational players are competing on an even playing field, instead of delivering rakeback to a selected community of members. We will also offer referrals programs for which the details will be available tomorrow on our Website.

I will answer your question with my view.
I played poker for 5 years and did see some connection which were disturbing. That there is algorithms in place to try to make players to play more games and get more % out of them. This is the main reason why I do not believe regular POker rooms.

It would be great to have a poker room with transparency.

Also about the CoinPoker Client, I like the design till the point of table. It is more like PokerStars. I do not like that design. I like MicroGaming design, when you are sitting in centre. But thats just me.

I don't have any inclination to play any gambling game much less poker but I know that this thing has a huge potential to rake in money and if done and marketed properly you can have a good and profitable name in the business. I happen to bought some gambling-type of ICOs before like TrueFlip and DAO.Casino but am discouraged by their growth or lack of growth in the market...they are seem to be stagnantand bad for me since I usually have the 'hodling' mindset.

How can I be sure that CoinPoker can be different and can really spell profits for me? Thanks.

Hello thank you for your message,
If you're asking about possible ROI, it's hard to tell just yet. Although, we wouldn't take so much time and effort into building our product if we wouldn't believe in it success. Players will be acquired using different promotional offers. One of the most important ones is our policy to add 15% of raised ICO tokens to the opening tournament series which we going to have after the ICO. 15% of which 5% will be used for first tournament can mean more than 1million EUR of added money. We hope that this will attract a lot of players to try our room!

I hope you somehow missed my questions and are not ignoring them because you don't have answers ;-)

Hi, please find our answers below:

1) we do not have such plans, our CHP will be based on ethereum network.
2) we do not have such indication that someone could participate via NEM in our pre-ICO, can you specify where you saw it on our website?

Regarding NEM, there's always easy way you could exchange NEM to ETH at any currency exchange and then participate with ETH.

See how it can be done here: https://coinpoker.com/bounties.

The refferal program is just for pre-ICO or for all ICO (January-February)?

Why pre-ICO finish at 1 December and ICO started after 1-2 months? Peoples who would like to participate after 1 December will be waiting for buy CHIPS long time. That's definitely not good for viral promo.

The CHIPS will be possible buy just for ETH or your players will be able to buy via credit cards, skrill, neteller, etc.?

25% of rake will be distributed to players. But what 75% of rest rake? If you decide to not sell any CHIPS you will be accumulate more and more CHIPS until you will have big part of all CHIPS. If someone have a big part of coins it can be easy manipulate with price at exchanges.
