Rs20 per kg decrease in ghee, cooking oil prices

ISLAMABAD: With reduction in palm oil prices in the international market by 35-40 per cent, the Ministry of Industries has informed the National Price Monitoring Committee (NPMC) that they are expecting a Rs20 per kg decrease in the price of ghee/cooking oil in a month.

The representative of the Ministry of Industries on Wednesday informed the NPMC that there was a time lag of a couple of months, so the manufacturers were producing palm oil based on Goods of Declarations (GDs) cleared in June and July 2022. Then the exchange rate depreciation also played a role, so as per their conducted study, the price of ghee/cooking oil should be reduced by Rs20 per kg in the domestic market.

On the other hand, the prices of palm oil in the international market witnessed a decline from $1,500/ton to less than $1,000/ton, so the prices registered a decrease of 35 per cent. The prices of palm oil in the international market had touched $1,800 per ton a few months back and the prices in the domestic market had touched their peaks. It’s quite strange that the government has so far remained unable to reduce the prices in the domestic market.

An official statement Wednesday said that Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Professor Ahsan Iqbal chaired a National Price Control and Monitoring meeting in Islamabad to assess the implementation status of the decisions taken in the previous NPMC meeting. Chief Economist Dr Nadeem Javaid, officials from the Ministry of Finance, line ministries, FBR, Trading Corporation of Pakistan, Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan, PASSCO and representatives of provincial governments were present.

The planning minister directed the provincial administration to strictly monitor profiteering by taking all the associations into the loop to transfer relief to people. The Ministry of Industries stated that there is a significant decline in the palm oil prices in the international market. However, the impact of sharp decline in international market will be passed on with a lag in the local market. The minister directed the Ministry of Industries to ensure the deceleration in the prices of ghee/edible oil by Rs20 within the next month.

How the Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Have Contributed to the Advancements of Computer Hardware and Software

The advent of crypto has seen many changes occur in the modern world. Of these changes, some of the most prominent ones have emerged in the technological sector. Bitcoin’s rise to the top catapulted technological advancements and adoption all around the world as the sector evolved at a fast pace. As such, humanity has taken great strides in computer hardware and software advances since 2009. This explainer will explore the most impactful developments for computer hardware and software.

Hardware

This term refers to the physical components of the computers, such as CPUs. These components have been constantly developed since the creation of computers in the 19th century. However, with the advent of cryptos, the speed at which developments occurred was significantly bolstered, edging humanity closer to quantum computing. Software
This term refers to the programs used to operate and complete functions on a computer. This facet of technology has seen a dramatic increase, with new developments being created regularly. These developments have transformed the crypto space and technology used by the global population. These software developments include:

• DApps

Decentralized applications (DApps) are programs that capitalize on the use of smart contracts to complete specified functions. Ethereum kick-started the avalanche that is DApp creation through the launch of its DApp marketplace in 2016. The network then expanded its platform, becoming the foundation of the world’s DApp development. Consequently, some popular DApps such as cryptokitties, Steemit, and Augur rose to prominence in the marketplace.

Individuals do not own these DApps; instead, they function autonomously with minimal human interference. DApps distribute tokens that are instead used to determine ownership, a process overseen by algorithms. This feature has promoted transparency in blockchain networks. As a result, the DeFi space has seen its boundaries pushed forward: DApps have become a staple of finance, education, gaming, governance, security, and development. These DApps have, in the recent past, been identified as critical in the creation and maintenance of web 3.0. Hence, as development and adoption continue, DApps will play a critical role in many functions in the future of human society.

3. It Found in uptrends and downtrends.

KEY  POINTS  TO KEEP IN MIND .
1. You must wait during trading while market having towards symmetrical triangle ,  is to look for a breakout on either side of the triangle ,  it's upward or downward and then trade in the direction of the breakout.
Bullish symmetrical triangle is a bullish continuation chart pattern, the movement preceding the triangle’s formation must be bullish.
Bearish symmetrical triangle is a bearish continuation chart pattern, the movement preceding the triangle’s formation must be bearish.

2.The symmetrical triangle pattern is different pattern from Descending or Ascending triangle pattern as both triangles’ lower and upper trend lines Taps/slope towards the center point.

A horizontal upper trendline in ascending triangles predict a higher breakout.
A horizontal lower trendline in Descending triangles predicts a lower breakout.

3.Symmetrical Triangles usually take more than three weeks to establish

The official Twitter account of the Government of Pakistan was "withheld" in India on Saturday.

The microblogging site said that the move was taken in response to a legal demand.

Currently, the account is not visible to the Indian users on the site.

According to Twitter guidelines, it withholds an account in case there is a valid legal demand, such as a court order.

This is reportedly the second time this incident has happened that the account has been suspended.

Twitter had suspended the accounts of several Pakistan embassies, journalists and state broadcaster Radio Pakistan in India back in June.

The banned accounts included accounts of the Pakistani Embassy in UN, Turkey, Iran and Egypt.

Meanwhile, the account of Radio Pakistan was blocked for highlighting human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK).
