Hi

i am relatively new to HIVE OS.
i am having difficulty with a new rig of 12 x 1070tis.

With one gpu plugged directly onto the motherboard, it mines just fine.
as soon as i plug in the second gpu, the miner begins to restart continuously.  

I am sure that it is not a riser problem.  when i plug a 1060 6gb onto the same riser as the second gpu, it then mines fines. even if i add multiple 1060s to the one 1070ti(plugged on motherboard) it is fine.

I receive the follow error:
Cannot Get Temperature : error 15.
GPU has fallen off the bus.




Basically anything more than one 1070ti is a problem.

On the console box the driver for the 1060gb shows as - GTX Geforce 1060
whereas the 1070ti shows as  -  Graphics Driver 8113


i have multiple 12x1060 6gb rigs and have not experienced this issue

PLEASE HELP! I HAVE SPENT 2 DAYS NON STOP TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS.

This can happen with weak PSU. Or weak wires. And yes, still the risers...

i have a corsair 1000watt with only 2 gpus plugged in.  everything else is disconnected
as mentioned in the post, i have tried multiple risers, and 2 more brand new corsair 850s.  also 1060s work fine on same risers

try -tt 0 in claymore settings... just googled it, didn't check.

Tried HiveOS and currently enjoying all the features that SMOS doesn't have and the nice interface, +10 for having a good clean, interface.

Two questions

I try to run ETHMINER with my NV cards I select everything correctly, however I continue to get "Error connecting to mining pool" (paraphrased) However The same pool i have set for ETHMINER works perfectly fine for Claymore's dual miner. Am I missing a setting?

The AUTO FAN control profile does not do a very good job. I have GPUs heating up but fan profile(set to 0/Auto) does a bad job of cooling them. When I control my Fans manually setting to 80+% I don't have temperature controls anymore. Can you please look at the AUTO fan control profile? Maybe add a Temperature limit in the controls?

There are some issues with claymore doesn't accept wallet address and other command parameters both in eth miner and cryptonote also vbios flashing doesn't work properly and sg miner has problems with skein and nist5 algos.
other than this monitoring and amd X nvidia mix works great.

I use windows 10, on all my rigs, but had trouble with one. Only 4 out of 5 gpus worked under win10, and when I put 5th card during nV driver install system freezes.  Problem is with first pcie x1 slot mb(F2A88X-D3HP), win10 freezes no mether if one card is connected or more, as long as 1st pcie x1 is ooccupied .... Tried different bios settings with no success.

Looked for different nV Linux distros, and decided to try this first.

Then I installed Hiveos, and all gpus work! AMAZING. I will test it for a while and see if it is rock stable, and than I will put Hiveos in my signature.

Great work! This project will live for long.

I am having issues with HiveOS.  Everything was working perfectly for almost 2 days and then claymore watchdog reported that one of the GPUs died.  HiveOS then attempts to restart the miner, and then the hash rate on all my GPUs dropped from 28.5mh to 4mh each.  HiveOS then reboots the system but after rebooting, all the GPUs are still mining at 4mh.  The only way to solve this is by switching the power off and then back on again.  When this rig was running windows, a simple system reboot would fix any hash rate issues.  Is there a way to solve this? I really like HiveOS and want to migrate my farm to it, but if it can't fix a simple situation like this, then I will have to look elsewhere.

i can comment this issue if you send me in telegram or fb your screen with wallets. I didn't see any problems with that before.

 ccminer recompiled for event more CPU platforms like old AMD Phenom II
- ccminer could show hashrate even when GPU was hang, now stats detect this by zero temp on that card
- rocm-smi more another utility for AMD clocks
- Turn Off LEDs on Nvidias from OC dialog. May not work on some cards.
