The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Finally Hive API is here. Let’s call it Ey Pi Ay)
Well, it’s a bit simple but what you can do with it is
- grab statistics for your own processing
- write your own auto algo switching script
- write your own wallet scheduler
- …
- PROFIT

The docs are here http://forum.hiveos.farm/discussion/192/hive-api
There is example for PHP add will be added Python soon (maybe)
Other features can be discussed in public chats.

for security reasons it's binded to 127.0.0.1:1880, not the all interfaces of your rig. so can be accessed from the rig itself only.

You will have to code your own profit swithing algo.  The API provides you the means to control HiveOS.  All else is your duty.

Hi,

After upgrading to latest hiveos version which include the latest claymore v11, my eth hasharate had decreased.
My rig setup is composed from 11 Rx 560 4gb. I lost about 0.800 for every card, for a total of almost 9MH/s for all the cards. Does anybody else got this issue? it is a hiveos issue? it is from claymore update?
I know there is a way to downgrade to previous hiveos version, but there is a way to downgrade only the claymore version?

Thanks.

I hate asking questions that have already been answered, so I’ve spent several hours looking for an answer, but haven’t found one.

Here’s my question/problem…

I see that you can add a second miner by going to Rigs - > Clicking on the rig in question.

However, there isn’t an option to add a wallet to that 2nd miner.  From what I can tell, it uses the 1st miner’s wallet info.

Yeah, I'd like to split my rig and have it mine to two wallets. Is that possible?

Hi,

I am interested in deploying HiveOs in a corporate environment.
We would not want our technicians to be able to see our wallet information.
Given that the OS has different levels of access, can we restrict what each account sees?

I want to mine ETH and CRC.  I’ve got everything running on miner #1 for ETH and it’s working VERY well – THANK YOU!  But how do I use ccminer and use a different wallet so what I mine is going to the correct wallet address?

By the way THANK YOU for making the first 3 rigs free.  That’s quite generous compared to your competition.

Hi are you talking about two different rigs mining two different coins?

So rig 1 mining ETH and rig 2 mining CRC but both using ccminer to do so?

If so you set yourself two seperate wallets on the wallet tab - one called ETH and the other called CRC and only configure the ccminer tab of the two seperate wallets.

Once done go to the rigs tab and select your ETH rig. Scroll to the bottom and under miner select "ccminer" under wallet select "ETH" then click on the rocket to apply both miner and wallet to your rig. Now do the same for your CRC rig

Hopefully i understood what you were asking.

Is there a max gpu temperature setting anywhere that will stop mining if the gpus reach a certain temperature? I know you can do this with Claymore, but I'm using ethminer.

Also, Is it possible to specify a failover pool for the eth miner config? There is only 1 field for Pool server - but I wanted to configure a failover server as ethermine.org has
 2 pool servers: us1.ethermine.org, and us2.ethermine.org.

Great work so far!

Yes you can add this on the wallet / epools

POOL: us1.ethermine.org:4444, WALLET: %EWAL%.%WORKER_NAME%, PSW: x
POOL: us2.ethermine.org:4444, WALLET: %EWAL%.%WORKER_NAME%, PSW: x

My hash with Claymore dual actually went up with the upgrade. Only %1, but its consistent across all my cards. And my rigs got more stable mining the same algorithm (pascal). They dont crash anymore or yet. I’m using 570 4gb cards though.

Seems new claymore version is good for 570 but not for 560.

Did someone try option -asm 2 with new version?
