0.5-30
- Logs totally reworked. All miner logs are now in /var/log/miner/*
- Logs can be putted in RAM now, USB flash drive owners will love this. Run logs-off to remount /var/log to tmpfs, reboot required. - Run logs-on to remount /var/log to disk, reboot required.
- GPU Power draw reporting, find it on the rigs page. Don't trust it too much, this is just a driver info.
- FIX: sgminer gm-nicehash fork was broken
- FIX: ccminer didn't show hashes on driver fail

I have a 6 gpu rig, 4 1060's and 2 1070 ti's. Can I and/or How do I mine ZCL with Ewbf miner on the 4 1060's and then mine XVG-x17 with CCminer Alexis on the 2 1070ti's? Wondering if its possible... Thanks

I am verywell satisfied to use HiveOS

You should be able to provide an IOS & Android app to monitor&control rigs as soon as possible.

Keep up the goodwork !
I think its not nedeed because mobile web browser works very well with HiveOS. I can set everything there.

Hello guys,

I got a 12 GPUs rigs with the following config :

Mobo : TB250-BTC Pro
CPU : Intel G4400
RAM : 8 Go
HiveOS : on USB3.0 Sandisk Key
PSU : 2 x 1800W
GPU : 12 x 1070 Ti

On hiveOS , i got the following problem with miners : one of my core is always 100%.

The "time nvidia-smi" takes 1.30minutes to output so the dashboard gives "No GPU"

You can see 2 rigs with the same problems :

Hi, I love HiveOS working awesome but some questions

Linux OS AMD Driver support
Does this use Blockchain drivers? I noticed that Voltage Regulation does not work. I only get about 931Mv Lowest, even if I set my Core voltage to 800/850mv and my Memory to stage 1/2.
Testing using Window 10, MSI RX580 1200/2000, using AMD overdrive on Andreline 18.1 Drivers I can get about 156w Total power consumption(card+Riser only) with 850mv core/900mv memory, testing the same card using HiveOS same speeds/voltage my power settings is 210-200w total power consumption (card+Riser only)

As you can understand this greatly concerns me when you have 12-13 GPU AMD rigs which is eating 1800w under windows but near 2400w under HiveOS. I don't fault hive I fault AMD's crappy driver control.

Second Can we get an update all rigs "update all button" under the main rig page?

Undervolting is quiet a "chalenge" on Linux...

You have to find best configuration OC vs PWR vs HASH.
Try to reduce COR and DPM and Cor voltage and Yes for 580 Memorystate at 1 is better for Lower PWR but you lose Hash...

What is your configuration on ccminer?

Here is my ccminer config :
Code:
=== /hive/ccminer/pools.conf =================================================
{
 "_note": "SPD - protopool.net - Local",
 "pools": [
 {
 "user": "SMSzCejyNyNQKctCPvoPKbLocMtiNHP7nN.pixel",
 "url": "stratum+tcp://eu1.protopool.net:3582",
 "pass": "c=SPD"
 }
 ],
 "api-bind": "0.0.0.0:4068",
 "max-temp": 85,
 "algo": "c11"
}

I would check out the TB250-BTC PRO/USB key as well. I have an Asrock H110 PRO BTC, G3930, 12 GTX 1070tis(As well) +16GB M.2 SSD And I suffer no issues or instability with HiveOS.

It may be a problem with the TB250-BTC PRO bios configuration. Can anyone send his settings ?

Could it be a CPU problem ?

Thanks

I have 3 rigs with the same mobo and processor as you.  I havent changed a lot the default bios:
- CSM Enabled (let the other configs as default)
- All PCI set to Gen2;
- Always On when power back;
- IGFX as default video;

Right now, I am mining Zclassic on MPH with dstm.  Each cores load ranges from 20-50%.

How have I not come across this before? I've been using Simplemining but this looks really nice.

Without reading through all 22 pages, has anyone here switched from Simplemining? How is Hive OS better?

I have switched from SMOS.  HiveOs is way better.  Has more miners, allows you to see hashrate trends, send you telegram notifications, shows a lot of graphics of temperature, fans, hashrates.  Its GUI is a lot nicer, richer and easier to use.

There is only two downsizes:
- Although Hiveos allows individual fans to be controlled, it doesnt have the Target Temp + Minimum Fan % concept as in SMOS.  I like to have my gpu lower than 70C with fans at a maximum of 70%.  If I let the auto mode enabled, it would allows temperatures higher than I am comfortable with.

- I dont understand why we have to apply a "miner" and "wallet", since the "wallet" in HiveOS already have its miner defined.

I was not a huge fan of SMOS so I switched to Ethos and haven't looked back but have heard good things about HiveOS

Can anyone that's used both Hive and Ethos describe which is better? I like that Ethos has teamviewer

Hi. When are you coming with the Auto Profit Based Switching?

For example if the ZEC is more profitable to mine instead of ETH? Your OS automatically switches to ZEC Mining without the need of manual input.

Please let me know since Auto-Profit Based Switching is what we need at the current time.

Thanks.

If you use claymore you can use target temp and fan minimun / max

Wallet/ Claymore config overwrite

-tt 65 (target temp)
-tt 1 (disable fan control from claymore)
-fanmax 80
-fanmin 40

test it.

For Wallet / Miner it is simple, on the wallet you can have multiple Miner configuration so you can just switch miner and keep the same wallet.

They just launch API on HiveOS so you can create your own auto-profit mining switch

There is so many ways to profit-switch... I suppose if HiveOs give native support to it, there will be an endless loop of customization, parametrization and new features being requested, and no one will ever be happy with it.
