Sorry I've been working insane hours but I was wondering if I update to the latest asic update will it update from the web dashboard or do I have to ssh and will efudd firmware be installed on z9mini I'm asking because efudd is listed under the updates and I don't want to mess up the stock firware

The compatibility issue with this firmware has been resolved.
After installing the efudd firmware, you will also need to reinstall the Hive ASIC client.

1) Most miners in HiveOS has several builds for CUDA versions (default - 9.2 and as selectable - 10.0 and sometimes 9.1)
2) Default NVidia drivers for client 0.6 is 396.54 (CUDA 9.2 compatible). It's can be easy upgraded/downgraded via tool nvidia-driver-update
3) For March planned release of new stable image with build-in drivers which will compatible with CUDA 10.0

So, answering your main question - "yes" HiveOS is compatible with CUDA 10.0

1. With all the responsibility I declare that code of ccminer which is contained in Nicehash repository at github can be builded as for CUDA 9.2 or 10.0.
Another thing is that this code is not currently working under Linux as it is written incorrectly.
2. Use hssh (Hive Shell) and type at Hive Shell console

Wait until update finished and reboot rig. After thar you will have latest NVidia driver.

Also now it can be done from Web panel via "Run" but I'm strongly recommend use Hive Shell for this operation

NVIDIA DRIVERS UPDATE GUIDE

This week we update NVidia drivers in our drivers repository. All drivers are CUDA 10 compatible.
Added drivers version:

• 410.93 - stable long term support
• 415.27 - current stable
• 418.30 - beta series

To update the drivers use the nvidia-driver-update tool.

After conducting our tests we choose version 418.30 for installation by default if no other arguments given to nvidia-driver-update command.
This version supports all the latest NVidia RTX cards and also gives 2x time lower system load on algos such as x16 family, cuckoo and others.

If you read article then you can found such lines in article:

If update procedure will finish successfully you will see the following message:
Driver installation successful. Reboot now.
Now you can reboot your rig. After reboot check driver version and miner functionality.

BTW re-read arcticle. It complemented the typical mistakes and solve problems that may arise during update procedure.

Just a question about the lolMiner v0.7
I was using the version 0.7a to mine BEAM. Once updated, should I change something?

With release lolMiner 0.7 finally all other coins returned to one binary. Before release 0.7 users which wants mine BEAM chooses version 0.7 alpha series and for other coins v0.6.
Finally the confusion is over with 0.7 release and you can set in miner settings "Latest" version and use latest stable lolMiner version. Currently it's - v0.7

I am having the hardest time getting a rig back up and running. Fresh flash drive and os flash included.

It's recognizing my 5 GPUs only showing stats for two, and giving unknown memory and extra details for two. I'm not getting any of them to be able to mine. Nothing I can do.

What's going on with hive? I'm on an octominer motherboard and haven't had this issue before.

Thousand workers works as usual. Hive servers also stable and works.
