There have been several updates on Facebook today. Apparently they are experiencing some technical problems with the App (earlier today they had posted about the new tech updates to the app).

It's just bad that they always roll out updates without testing them, and after the update is made public, within a few hours, they apologize and ask for our patience.

It just keeps on happening, every time.

BTW, does anybody have any idea at all that from what fund (or from what ETN reserves) they're rolling out the mobile mining payouts, since it's not the actual mining (according to the app details)?

Like they could actually test it on every device, with different Android versions! It's not like they have a dangerous bug, from what I understand it just has something to do with the notification and the aggresive power saving some Android versions have.
As for your question: They are unsold coins from the ICO, or in other word, part of premined coins that were meant to be distributed to the community in various ways.
I'm sorry but I can't find a source for it, I just remember it from when Electroneum was starting.

dude, you still didn`t get it? your mining simulation isn`t real mining... you do nothing on the chain, so the asic miners affect zero to your payouts.
maybe you get less payout because of more app users

hahah this is funny. I have around 20ETNs that are lost some how! I had to have 2x10 etn transfers from the mobile miner, that were dispatched from the app while the blockchain was having a lot of issues and they are still not in my wallet.
The last 150ETNs that were mined with the app are already in my wallet, but how can I recover the 20 lost ones? Or should I wait a bit longer and they will show up? Following the blockchain tech logic, they cannot be lost just like that, but still I am waiting for these for more than a month lol.
