I don't know but iota admins could have informed about this at some earlier point... dont you agree?? This is one of reasons to question and to be afraid of investing huge amounts of money into IOTA... Just like Monero hyping up price just to be BS ... Be carefull people it's a mean world and everyone is out to get your money ....

This is the twitter thread between the Iota team and the writers of the article. Basically, Microsoft wasn't a full investment partner as some had thought (though they could have checked before jumping to that conclusion) and someone wrote an article saying that it was a lie, which isn't true either as the Microsoft media given to Iota stated "partner"--it's a case of hype vs fud--they both have points, but what the writer originally wrote was taken down after David contacted Iota's lawyers.

IOTA is just at the startingpoint. ...but if you look at their conferences the future is looking great - if not best compared to my other favourite coins.

I went 80% IOTA now because of the cheap price.

IOTA is still an excellent investment. I'm just HODLing my coins, as soon it will be back up there. All this news nonsense has crippled it, but that will soon be forgotten.

Really liking the coin and believe it has future and lots of potential. At the moment keep my IOTAs in exchange wallet which I hate but I hear the IOTA wallet is a real nuisance to keep updating so I'm a bit hesitant to download it. Any experiences with it?

The market cap of Ethereum was also "high" at 10 billion USD, yet Ethereum is now around 60 billion, while "other cheaper ETH projects" are nowhere.
They died.

Its always the same, people back in the days bought Ethereum copy scams like Expanse instead of buying the real Ethereum because ETH at 10 USD was too expensive. Or they bought Shadowcoin scam because it was cheaper then Monero. But some people just deserve to lose money, its better in our pockets then theirs.  

Of course some "IOTA for the poor" and for those who tink they missed the IOTA train will be available, but they will stay nonsignificant, while IOTA will march toward the Ethereum market cap.

Last but not least I do not think there are many real pearls out there in the cryptosphere. Yes you can make money even with stupid, useless or scammy projects, just take a look at DASH or Bitconnect and its current market cap. But I prefer to put my money into those where I can sleep well at night. Like I said rearding low market cap projects I would take a closer look to Chainlink and I would try now to enter IOTA while it is correcting, because afterwards many will again cry how they missed this opportunity.

Like I said before: The average crypto investor or trader does not even have a clue why and how huge IOTA will become in the next 1-2 years already.
Without the goal to insult anybody or to repeat myself, but while reading some comments here I think for some people its simply too much and out of their scope to understand this. They will be wondering even in years to come how IOTA could rise over 50 or 100 billion USD market cap.
