I dont think so. You acquire it buy buying it or been paid with it or whatsoever reason you acquired it so it is yours like physical money. No one has the right to tell you you are greedy because you are holding it for as long as you want. It is an asset, so it is normal if you just hold it for a long time. No it is not greed. This is the way you manage your own money so it is your right.

I don't think its greedy, I mean we should refer it as a strategy because some people just keep their bitcoins and wait for a higher prices where they can sell it on a higher value but this is not a sure thing that the bitcoin will continually rise its value I think for the people for are holding their bitcoins is that they trust in bitcoin that's why they keep it. they trust that it will continue to rise!

Greedy is part of the strategy because with it we can create greater opportunities in order to increase the opportunity to gain profit.
If you have a good level of patience then this can be done, I am pretty sure if we can combine greed and patience then we will get a good strategy.
strategy will make us think to do the analysis and we can hold bitcoin whatever we want.

The best way to go about it is to make yourself a goal from the start and once you reach it then you can start cashing out. Holding on to bitcoin forever guarantees you won't reach the peak and you could end up worse than when you started depending on how the market performs and whether there are big crashes.

I don't think so. If you still don't need the bitcoin you need, it is a smart move to just let it be and use it as an investment. It is not about being greedy. It is about being smart.

I think holding bitcoin is not greedy at all. Bitcoin as an investment will make people have to be wise in keep and selling their own bitcoin. When they are holding their bitcoin maybe for their profit purpose...sometime the bitcoin's price can be up and down. it is normal thing when they still keep their bitcoin and waiting for the highest price and then they sell it. It is normal to hold bitcoin not greedy.

Having a goal or plan is the best thing to have in order to make things happen because if you will just wish for something that you don't have then you just need to realize that it is better to just accept the fact that you need to set something before you can make it happen. Holding is not greedy as long as you know what you are trying to do.

You will not call them greedy, if the prices go up to $100,000 per coin and the holders become millionaires all of a sudden. On the other hand, if the prices crash then everyone will call them greedy. It is ironic that the outcome decides the label or title of a certain individual.

Everyone is greedy and of course traders and investors are greedy too. People invest in bitcoin because it brings in high profits in a short time that is why they are greedy.

That is the risk of the bitcoins hoarders. If the value dropped too low they will lose some profit. But if it rise and rise they will create more profit.

Bitcoin holders are not greedy, banks and governments are greedy. They are thinking of ways to get profits by way of tax on bitcoin. Really they are useless people.

That really is. Holding is just a strategy a person to increase the profit of their investment. Doing that is not to be greedy because they wanted to have large amount of money, it is because the take the opportunity since the price increase and it make them crazy for that. They become excited on what they are going to have.

People who hold their bitcoin just to earn huge amount of profit doesn't mean they're all greedy. They just all wanted to earn huge amount of profit for their family and for their future. Do you really think they're being greedy? Don't accuse them as being greedy coz it's not right. There are people whose being greedy and there are people whose not and it's not being greedy but rather it's being wise. Why would they sell it right away if there's a high chance of earning huge amount of profit if they'll keep on holding it.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

next years bitcoin holding will be for rich only , No one will put more than 10,000$ to buy 1 bitcoin.

poor will only use bitcoin as currency only

I don't think keeping bitcoin makes a person greedy. We have different reasons why we keep holding our bitcoin. Some uses it as a saving in case of emergency or when unexpected financial needs come along. Others save it for retirement purpose. I guess ending up with nothing will never happen. It is the currency of the future so it will last long and improve more.

i don't think this is a greedy behavior because some of people want to hold it until another folk coming
and some people is a true fans in bitcoin ,
Yeah you are right that this is not to looks greedy. That, some people are holding Bitcoin because the value of Bitcoin is increasing. As my thinking, this is the basic right of everyone. They have their own choice when they want to sell and when they want to buy. To hold Bitcoin by its price going up is the intelligent thinking, not to be greedy. The trading on Bitcoin is too much easy and fast. Investors are should be patient enough that they see the right time when to sell Bitcoin.
