It's not being greedy...it's getting wise.  As investors, holders are keeping their bitcoin for latter gain.

Most of the people hold their Bitcoin and I'm considering them greedy. It is just their way to do save and keep their investment high. There's no way that I will them that they are greedy.

I don't think that holding bitcoin is a greed. We should keep some bitcoin in our  wallet as it's price is growing very fast.  So to holding bitcoin is not a greed. We all should hold some bitcoin and wait for the time when the bitcoin price will increase to it's maximum.

It will sound greedy if you use it to grab and buy bitcoin you want but not need, the since the supply becomes thin the price will go up after it pass your desired level you sell all for good price, that is greedy.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

For me the ultimate function of bitcoin is not the price but to give us my family a comfortable life tomorrow but most especially "NOW", for we should live the moment for we don't hold our future, just enjoy the ride, for today is called "present" because its a gift that we need to enjoy for the moment being, stop worshiping bitcoin like its God for it should serve you just like money, don't become a slave of your money or bitcoin but instead let it work for you especially when you are sleeping, it is made by humans for a reason and that is to become a tool for them to use and not worship.
There are some political people who are asking that bitcoin holding is greedy so I want to tell you that holding of bitcoin is a trading and everyone can make enough profit by holding bitcoin so if you want to earn enough profit then you need to hold your bitcoin.

i agree, holding a bitcoin cant really be termed as greed because we also hold our money or local currency like dollars because we are saving it for our future uses and this is also happened on digital currencies like bitcoins. the main reason why peeople hold bitcoin is it because bitcoin can still expected to rise and increase more therfor bitcoin holders also gain a specific profit on their holdings. that is also called investing and not a greed

I dont think thats greedy attitude or should I say thats being practical. They hold bitcoin as much as they could because to wait for its value to increase so they can have a profit.  Just to earn and save more to secure there future. Saving more or holding a bitcoin  for me its a way to secure your future or just a back up to gain more profit.

Holding bitcoins does not bring the idea that a person is greedy at all! Instead, it is a strategy that will be played by the owners of it.

No, it's not being greedy to hold on to your BTC. It's only a strategy and you are free to do whatever with your BTC

This is actually debatable. The thing is, one of the major rules in order to become successful in any bitcoin or cryptocurrency activities is to learn how to hold. Therefore, it is not correct to say or to conclude that one is greedy for holding his or her own bitcoin. Because the success of bitcoin activities varies on the time of it's volatility that's why we usually hold.

Holding bitcoin is just being smart in terms on when you will spend your bitcoin and how you would use them. Its not being greedy because of the fact that you just want something better for a coin that you spend your time just to earn with.

in my opinion, holding bitcoin for a long time is not greedy because it's natural that we want a bigger profit because we're trying for it

For me, holding bitcoin is not greedy, that is tactics to earn plenty of money or just to grow your investment. You have the freedom to hold your bitcoin and also you have your plans what will you do to your bitcoin. We all know that bitcoin price is still increasing, and you can obtain a huge amount of money if you just hold it and sell it at your profitable price.  Just only remember that bitcoin has an unstable price and by holding your bitcoin you can easily manage what will you do to it. Smiley
Holding bitcoin for a little longer period of time is not greedy at all. Everyone knows it has become a business. So business is directly related with your ideas and long term plans. So what’s greedy in that? Microsoft gets richer every day. So is bill gates greedy? Business is all about money. So that should be it. If bitcoin increases in value everyday shouldn’t they be happy and be ready to invest more in bitcoin?

Well, it might be greedy, but we can use it any way we want. You purchase Bitcoin and hold it, another guys uses Bitcoin to buy altcoins with, another one buys a flat with Bitcoin and so on. We are basically giving value to it, more or less, depending on each one of us.

Greediness is far from being smart. Holding your bitcoins will be the smartest thing to do. Since the price of bitcoin is very constant and stable, after how many years it will increase more. You are doing business here and greediness has no room in bitcoin.

Well, for me I think that holding on to your bitcoin is not being greedy, but it is being mindful and intelligent on when should you cash out or invest on something. Since the value of bitcoin is very unpredictable, it is risky to mindlessly spend your bitcoin or invest it into something else. You need to think on when is the right time to spend your bitcoin. For me, it is not being greedy, but it is a tactic.

We cannot say that holding bitcoin is a greedy thing. Holding it is one of the best strategy in making your investments grow. People hold bitcoin because they wait for its value to increase until it  reaches or exceeds their desired profit out of their investment. We can consider this as a smart way of keeping your money. And also, holding bitcoin doesn't necessarily mean that they are earning that's why we cannot probably say that its a greedy thing.
