Hi there! Does -asm 1 work with Fury(X) for anyone using 4.0b to mine lyra2z? When I try it miner simply wont run whining "-a" parameter is wrong. Or asm simply isn't meant to work with Fury?

v4.0 beta: 9 September 2018
    - Added Lyra2z
    - Now 64 bit binaries only, no more 32 bit
    - Now only asm optimized kernels (removed --asm parameter)
    - Removed support for legacy Cards (prior to R9 290)
    - Reduced distribution size
    - Beta release: only windows and only lyra2z (linux and lyra2rev2 with some optimizations will be available in full release)

My test on MSI RX580:
3.45Mhs on mkxminer 4.0b
3.37Mhs on teamred miner 0.3.2 (minus 3% their devfee) => effective 3.27Mhs
So my miner is 5% faster.

Same results. After deep inspection, my 7x480 miner consumes little less energy with same OC settings (about 14-16 watt from wall whole system) on MKX instead TeamRED.

winmkx, continue your work on miner and maybe you will take the 4mhs height for 480\580 Smiley

Hello!

I just released a new version of mkxminer. Sorry, it took a little longer than I thought:

v4.1: 27 October 2018
    - Linux build + Windows build
    - About 5% speed increase

* Coming soon *
    - API support

Links in OP

Thanks

PS: I'm planning to create a separate thread for Lyra2z mkxminer, because the discussion above is mostly for Lyra2rev2 algo. But lyra2rev2 is now dead for GPUs (because of ASICs).

Dear miners!

I am locking this thread. Please use the new thread for Lyra2Z miner related questions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5058058

If you are here because of Lyra2rev2 miner, then please think again: Lyra2rev2 ASICs now exist and it is very unprofitable to mine this algorithm with a GPU.
If you just need MONA/VTC/etc coins, then it makes more sense to mine other algorithm (say Lyra2Z, see link above) on a multipool with BTC payouts and then use BTC to buy MONA/VTC.

Thank you
WinMKX
