Same for me, balance 0 at the pool and no rewards from 23PM yesterday. Stopping mining until it's resolved.

Same here, no point to continue mining for the moment. Really bad that there are no more pools willing to accept ROI.
I believe this coin has potential.

Problem are not that people dont want to add this coin to there pool,
problem is no poolsoftware have this algo default.
Here is a bounty to add hodl to unomp poolsoftware.

So I finally got my act together and sent an e-mail to admin@suprnova.cc, requesting if they would consider making a pool for ROIcoin.
I am really happy to see that a bounty is being offered. I included a link to this thread and one to the bounty page.
Fingers crossed Smiley
EDIT: Oops. Didn't realize that the bounty is being offered only for UNOMP implementation and suprnova is using MPOS

can the pool support nicehash hodl algorithm?  Huh

As you know, both the price and network hashrate drop dramatically.

i don't mean to ruin the profits for small miners. however for the health of coin, we should let all kind of people to join the mining.

if this is an offense, I'm sorry about that.

If, by "the pool", you mean coinspool. Then I believe that the answer is yes. I have no idea about suprnova if they support nicehash. But as I understand it, Nicehash is very hard to block. So my guess would be also yes :-)

I don't like the "nicehashers" with high hashrates for one person very much, but I also see them on some other suprnova pools. So if ROIcoin will be put on suprnova, we will also see the nicehashers there I think. Cool

Create a file ROIcoin.conf in your wallet folder and paste this inside
Quote
rpcuser=mine
rpcpassword=miner
rpcallowip=0.0.0.0/0
rpcport=23110
rpcthreads=40
server=1
daemon=1
gen=0
miningaddress=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

RPCport = 3376
addnode=99.198.174.212
addnode=188.226.134.103
addnode=178.62.105.207
addnode=46.101.241.241
addnode=46.101.139.91
addnode=52.211.179.241

Replace xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with your wallet address, and save
Edit *.bat file that start mining in pool with this line
Quote
hodlminer -a hodl -o http://127.0.0.1:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 4 --coinbase-addr=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Again replace xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with your wallet address, save and than execute *.bat file
The wallet must be running to in order to mining the coin in solo mode

Just FYI:
rpcallowip=0.0.0.0/0 <--- Very bad idea , your opening up RPC access to the whole world.

so is there way to safe solomining with better hashrate?

Could anyone help me with above?

Crazy how much the pool affects solo mining...

Hello,

Trying to mine solo with hodlminer.exe. Here is my bat file:

Code:
hodlminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 12 --coinbase-addr=RDNB3qBvkx4jXVUjEkQKqUGgAnQkvXQom8 -q

And here is my roicoin.conf:

Code:
rpcuser=mine
rpcpassword=miner
rpcport=23110
rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1
rpcthreads=40
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
miningaddress=RDNB3qBvkx4jXVUjEkQKqUGgAnQkvXQom8

RPCport = 3377
addnode=99.198.174.212
addnode=188.226.134.103
addnode=178.62.105.207
addnode=46.101.241.241
addnode=46.101.139.91
addnode=52.211.179.241

I found a few blocks but they was not accepted:

Code:
[2018-01-23 20:07:01] accepted: 0/1 (0.00%), 516.86 hash/s (booooo)

Why???

Quick Update:

We have added a 2nd block explorer for ROI coin and you can find it at https://blockexplorer.roi-coin.com/

This was done to benefit the coin and the community. When having only one block explorer and that block explorer has to be updated it can go off line for a little while. By having 2 block explorers we now have the option to leave one running while the other one is being updated. This way the community should always have access to at least one block explorer that is working.

I am on the way now to update the ANN, website and other locations where the block explorer link is listed Smiley

What version of wallet are you running?
Are you synchronized at the same block height as the official block explorer?

you new to mining ? add -D flag to see debug it will show the reason.

from hodl-miner.c

is it better to set
rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1
rather than
rpcallowip = 0.0.0.0/0 ?

and with rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 solo mining should be allright?

only rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 !  but there is no matter for mining, only for safety

If the organizers realize their ideas the way they say, then this will be a very strong project. I wish success to the project team. I'm with you.

Did someone know the hashrate of the Ryzen 1700 OC?

With the 1600 OC

- Stock fan about 480 safe.
- Water cooling about 650 safe.

If someone know some safe setting to push a bit higher, thank for sharing.

the estimation on website should be wrong. because I have seen someone getting >50000 ROI daily with only 50kH/s. but the total emission rate is just 86400 = 120 x 720 coins daily.
If it is that easy to get a coin, it will be worthless.

You are reading it wrong or you are reading it from wrong place. Yes, 50 KH/S is very high HR and usually it's Nicehash or something like Polaris CPU. It still shows 25000 coins as expected daily income  but you can count on half of that. That's from my experience. Also, 50KH/s is half the HR of entire pool. Who can afford that speed?

So anyone gets reward in solo mining?

Lets calc, If there are 86400 new coins per day, so with 162.39 KH  one h/s should give  0.533333333333
So with my ~300 h/s  I should be getting ~150 coins but that pool pays only 20 coins

ROI was recently added to CryptoHub exchange  Shocked

https://cryptohub.online/market/ROI/

This is an awesome NEWS! Finally!

Thanks to everyone who helped this happen.

I am confused what is the current price for ROI at Cryptohub. It can't be right. It's quite high if I read it right. I wish it's that high though.

This is good news for us. We need as much exposure as we can and another exchange is always a good thing. I'm just figuring out if I should buy or mine opcoin. I better hurry up so I don't miss on too many staking days.
