Yes, the average is over the last N shares -- which is a long time as currently the hash rate is low. Changing the shown hash rate to a fixed interval has been on the TODO list for a long time. But for now, just let the miners run a few hours and you will see that the shown hash rate is correct.

Hope we will find the first block soon Smiley

Yes, could be due to the averaging over time. The averaging time is constantly increasing.

Yes, I am trying to decipher that too.  I started mining using just one computer and it shows 400h/s on computer but only 35 h/s on optiminer. Unless his table shows 10 times less than what h/s really is, I am missing something here.

if Paddy321 is running 650h/s for 1 hour, optiminer should show close to it. Average s hould be around that speed after 3 minutes, not just after 1 hour.

Just FYI, I changed it a little bit and instead of using hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000 -u HODLADDR -p x   I added -q which makes it cleaner for me.
                                             I am using basically   hodlminer.exe -q -o stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000 -u HODLADDR -p x

We just had a 3rd mining pool go live and the dev is asking for testers... http://roi.optiminer.pl:8081/

I was not aware that we had 2 pools already. I was always mining on coinspool. What was the second one before optiminer?

Reduce the shares that are kept for PPLNS. I used the same settings for the ROI pool as for my HODl pool which gets 10-20k H/s. That was probably not ideal for the start  Grin Now the averaging interval is about 1 hour.

I started using hodlminer_AVX2_AES_win64 miner and I am getting normal rate  on my computer of around 500 h/s and it does how 350 h/s so far on  the page. I hope it will climb up soon to show as close as possible to that number. We're getting there.

Thanks for opening  a pool for us.

Nice! I can't see no payment yet?!? But I also noticed that my address suddenly disappeared from the list and came back after I restarted the miner. Started from 0 again. Maybe something got lost? Well, let's wait for the next block.  Smiley

Well, I can confirm that for the last 30 minutes hash rate is correct. Let's mine some more blocks! Wink

One small difference between CoinsPool and Optiminer pool: CoinsPool sends coins after 360 confirmations while Optiminer sends you coins right away and they get confirmations while in your wallet. Also CoinsPool send you minimum of 20 coins.

With optiminer, miners get percentage (based on their hash rate) of the previous block as soon as new one is mined. It more transparent comparing to CoinsPool. You can get 2 or 50 coins based on how much hash rate you used for that coin.

I like it.

It should be about the same in terms of what you get over time. But it is very good news that there is a 2nd ROI coin pool. If one pool forks miners still have a pool to mine on till the other is fixed Cheesy

Optiminer Mining Pool for ROIcoin is now available!

http://roi.optiminer.pl:8081/

Point your hodlminer to stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000:
./hodlminer -o stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000 -u ROIADDR -p x

Will you publish the pool software at github? So others can setup a roi coin mining pool also.

After running Optiminer pool for 12 hours with Hashrate of 1.5 kH/s, I made 260 coins. It can give other miners some information what to expect.
