According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I have a wallet on 32 computer and I wanted to put it on another one, also 32. But on the site I did not find the version for 32, only for 64. The developer no longer makes the version for 32?

32 Bit>>>> urm prob not given the limmits of a 32bit cpu/OS in regards to RAM support, AES being needed on the cpu for the algo and the small factor that a 32bit CPU is like asking iTunes to sell tapes.

Intel and AMD have not put money in to making a 32bit cpu for well over 10 years with the very small exemption of corp equipment.

The coin is pointed to the home user. And as of the last 5 years all home laptops and pcs will have a 64 bit CPU and 99% will have a 64bit OS with the small exemption of devices such as linx vision tablets that have a 64bit CPU but a 32bit OS and cant be upgraded due to BIOS limmits.

What CPU and OS are you using?

Nice! I can't see no payment yet?!? But I also noticed that my address suddenly disappeared from the list and came back after I restarted the miner. Started from 0 again. Maybe something got lost? Well, let's wait for the next block.  Smiley

Payouts happen normally with the next mined block. The list on the main page only shows currently active miner. Note that there is a search box on top of the page where you can enter your address and it will show you all the balance details.

Optiminer Mining Pool for ROIcoin is now available!

http://roi.optiminer.pl:8081/

Point your hodlminer to stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000:
./hodlminer -o stratum+tcp://roi.optiminer.pl:5000 -u ROIADDR -p x

Will you publish the pool software at github? So others can setup a roi coin mining pool also.

That would be nice its one way to make ROI and hodl wanted more.

After running Optiminer pool for 12 hours with Hashrate of 1.5 kH/s, I made 260 coins. It can give other miners some information what to expect.

Thats with network hash at 150-200kh right?

No, that's with 1500 h/s (or 1.5 kh/s).

Yeah 1.5kh from you and 150kh-200KH on the ROICoin network.

The more hash on the network the less coins anyone will get on any pool or solo mining.

The network hash was around 150-200kh when you mined that pool and you stated that you got 260 coins in 12 hours. So you can take it if the network hash was 75-100kh you would have made around 520 coins. But if the network hash was 300-400kh you would have made around 130 coins. More hash on the network = less coins for each miner. Less hash on the network meens more coins for each miner.

Houston we have a problem!

A quick check in console for getchaintips...

It looks like both pools have forked the coin and are moving way ahead on a branch that is not active.

Yes, something is not right. My wallet is not syncing too. I show last block to be 48563, while  block explorer shows 48613. Debug window show that my wallet is in sync with 16 connections (1 in/15 Out).

Good to know. I'll stop mining in a pool right away until Houston gets it fixed.

How long should it take to receive coins from an exchange transfer? I purchased some today on CryptoHub and then sent it to my ROI wallet using the receiving address. I just downloaded the wallet today so it should be current. It's been over 3 hours since CryptoHub showed the transaction 'confirmed by blockchain.' Is it normal to take this long?
