Around 08:40 EST, our security team was alerted to a large transaction from one of our wallets held in cold storage. As they investigated, they started noticing some irregular trading activity in TIO pairs on Bancor & Kucoin. We alerted both Bancor & Kucoin accordingly to disable any deposits & withdrawals, and did the same on trade.io. TIO Deposits & Withdrawals will be disabled on both Kucoin & trade.io until further notice, and TIO will no longer be listed on Bancor. There is still large volume going through htcbtc and gate.io
As noted by developers, do not trade on those platforms, your tokens won't be replaced after their 'fork' due to the security breach!

It’s just as interesting what they do with the stolen tokens. The most important thing is that they don’t go to the exchanges.

Airdrop of new token TIOx already is done, at least for the TIO holders that store tokens at the wallets outside the exchanges! But they will be tradeable only after 31 October and only on the trade.io exchange. |

Yeah just read that. They must have always intended to eventually only have their native token available on their exchange, but probably didn't expect it to happen this quickly. The breach probably made them accelerate towards offering Tio(x) exclusively on their exchange. They would have probably preferred to let it sit on other exchanges for a little bit longer to raise awareness of trade io. |

Now they have raised enough awareness of trade.io) Have to confess that deep in my minds I asked myself wasn`t this a planned breach for conducting their plans of exclude listing TIOs on other exchanges, except trade.io. |

Yes, even KuCoin has completed the token swap of Trade Token (TIO) to TIOx for all TIO holders on KuCoin with a conversion ratio of 1 TIO = 1 TIOx and opened withdrawals. As we could see in CMC from October, 27 19:30 UTC all trades were stopped and there is no volume at all. May be those trades were the last for TIOs! As to the HitBTC exchange, they haven`t reach any deal with the trade.io team as was announced previously. |

They keep having security issues, which is a major concern, and should be to anyone who provides personal info as part of the liquidity pool. We just had the breach of TIO cold storage, and today I received an email about not opening a fake spam email link from 'trade io' that probably downloads some virus. I mean, how the hell has some spam company got access to their email distribution list to know we're part of the trade io exchange? If you can't protect something like that, why should anyone trust you with sensitive information through KYC??? It is extremely concerning and I hope the company provides more detail about this soon, and why it won't happen again. |

Okex delist tio on august 24, so every holder on okex is legitimate

Are you sure? If they delisted on Okex, how can holding coins from Okex be legitimate. Not saying it won't be deemed legitimate, but interested in what you find out when you make your claim. |
