Activity & new membergroup limits

Hi, i've been waiting for my posts to become activities... even this post will become my 38th post and still not be an activity? Is there a way i could still add-up my activity? Or my other posts be recognized under activity? Please advise...

You can make as many posts as you want but your activity will not increase more than 14 activities every 2 weeks (period).
You have to wait only, a new period will start today.

You should be getting 28 activity. I just received mine.

Hi guys I don't understand what I'm doing but since a couple of weeks my activity is simple stopped at 98  .
Since I registered on the 5th of August time is way over 100+ days and posts too.
I don't know what I'm doing can somebody please help me

So I have to post daily at least two post to get promotion in the activity. I am now posting like that only as I don't have any signature campaign if I have for this posting I could have paid and it might motivate me a lot. Its all about luck only.

No, I think you miscounted or didn't understand. It's a maximum of 14 posts in a 2 week period that counts for activity, so that would average at 1 per day although there is no requirement to do it 1 day at a time.

So if I posted 5 per day , that gives me 70 post in 2 weeks.. Only 14 will be counted as an activity?

This format of counting the activity is applied  to all ranks?  What about my login time?

As for your first question, yes and there will be no exceptions in this matter. For the second one, it doesn't really matter. What being "active" means in your "activity": posting even just once in an activity period will able you to claim your 14 potential activities. Login time has no role to play in your "activity."

And I think that spamming up the rank should be limited by another parameter. The formula

where

qposts = floor(min(words, posts*20)/20)

qposts ~ a count of 'conditionally' quality posts
words ~ total sum of words in all user's posts
20 ~ minimal amount of words in one post to be considered as a quality input

20 words makes hardly one decent line, so it's not a lot, could be higher.
That would stimulate people to actually write something and avoid polluting threads with statements such as "i'm in ! great dev !"

Minimum activity to become member is 60. In fact, activity is multiplied by 2 every time : 30 - 60 - 120 - 240 - 480 - then Legendary.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.

hi i've posted 26 posts today and the count stoped at 28 . how is that , i mean the count works in case of having an old account that you only posted with once.

This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity.

Yeah, that post that was made in 2016 gave you an additional 14 activities to the ones that you have in that period. So you only have for the moment 28 activities, the next Tuesday you will have another 14 activities so a total of 42. No matter how much you post, you can't get more than your activity.

No there isn't, you will get extra 14 activities when a new period of 2 weeks will start in Tuesday.

There isn't a minimum words. All posts counts in your activity unless it will get deleted by you or by a mod

so if my calculation is correct, it takes a month to become a jr member  and 4 months to become a full member, correct?

One thing that confuses me is the fact that I currently have 10 Activity Points but in the thread it's stating that you can only receive one point per day.

OR is it like after I've posted 14 times it will freeze for 2 weeks and then after 2 weeks the points start counting per post again?

It's not limited by day, but by activity periods which are every two weeks, so you can get 14 activity per fortnightly period (which equates to one point for every day essentially).

You will have seven posts but be able to get 14 activity once you make the 14 posts in total. You only need to make one post in each activity period to be able to collect the full 14 activity at a later date.

No, activity updates shortly after each post. There is a maximum of 14 activity you can achieve in each 2 week period so you will only have to wait if you are already at the maximum possible.
