From 0.1 to 1 BTC in 6 months with Day-Trading

I still think that trading on only one platform and going only for day trade you somehow restrict your opportunities. I find that interesting swings are often in the one week range, and waves a bit too consistent to securely ride them. For exemple I sold some dash at 0.07 on the 11th, bought back at 0.005 on the 17 th and I am aiming for 0.074 in one or two days (well that is where I have my order anyway even if I think it will probably go a bit higher than that before the end of the week), and there was not much space to do intraday trading during that period with a good chance of success.

I don't know where did you get the information that he earned "5.9 BTC" as profit in just 6 months. Earning that much of a profit is quite impossible. He is just aiming to make his 0.1 btc into 1 BTC in 6 months. And so far he is doing a great job.

Thanks everyone for the support, it's really hard sometimes. I used to trade Monday-Friday with Forex and indices, now that I also trade crypto, I trade 7/7 and 24/24... fortunately I don't have a girlfriend/wife!

I also have an investment in bitcoin and my challenge here is based on the assumption that bitcoin price will rise in 2018.
So I will increase my bitcoin amount while bitcoin price is going up, that's the plan

Trading is something different from investments. If I only had to invest, bitcoin would be my first choice by far.

You have got a lot time for making a complete bitcoin. The capital investment too is good for a stable earning which can get a profit of one bitcoin after months. With day trading an asset that varies regularly needs to be picked. Only then profiting is possible, because we need to make at least a small earning from the difference.

What's important about yesterday is that I added a parameter to my algorithm because of an intuition I had while I was trading. I then traded 9 altcoins, and all of them gave me profits.



Now I'm junior member, I can post pictures and here is the graph since I started.

Last but not least, I have received messages to help trading. I'd like to help, but positions need to be managed all day long, especially with cryptocurrencies, everything can change in minutes. I barely have time to check my trades (forex, indices and crypto), I can't also follow yours

If you go on with same growth, it will take you almost a year (300+ days.) I took 9% growth/ 12 days figures from picture. Of course that won't be the same every 12 days period so we'll see. Good luck!

I'm going to start a trading journal. My goal is to reach 1 BTC starting from 0.1 (a bit less), trading altcoins with a short-term outlook.
I'm a professional trader and, even if cryptocurrency is a new world to me, I have decided to dedicate 6 months to test this market with a small amount.
If I succeed, I will include cryptocurrency in my investment portfolio and I will publish my strategy.

That in fact I think is quite possible, let's say you make a trade of 0.01 btc with an altcoin of your interests, and assuming that you'll get 20% return on every trade, given you invest and sell based on the factors at the right time, then yes my friend, you can achieve what you wanted .
