So we have about 5 more days until our next monthly superblock.
If anyone has any proposal ideas, please submit them now.
If we still have excess available this Friday evening, I plan on adding a compassion excess-to-orphan fund proposal to spend the remaining coins on something constructive, and will dump them on the exchange.

Alright, I went ahead and made a proposal to request 1.5 million BBP for our 'New Exchange Fund': http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=97.msg3218#msg3218
This fund will enable us to save up in order to apply for a big exchange. I realize that this proposal concerns a lot of money (and thus trust), but I've been with this project from almost the beginning, and my full name is known to many people that are attached to this project (my username is a big giveaway, haha!). Besides that, I've been working with CamaroonONE and Cryptoshot (who will organize our Biblepay Ghana tour), which - in my opinion - shows my long-term commitment to this project. I will update the forum.biblepay.org topic with more information when the proposal has propagated through the network (if that's the right jargon).

If it turns out we need some more BBP between superblocks we could also do similar to what Thomas did to raise funds for SouthXchange.

Hi All,
I'm new to BBP, but I am a believer that loves the idea; One issue that I'm come up across in trying to set up a Sanctuary is that I can't seem to buy enough. I'm not sure if this is taboo to ask, but if anyone out there is interested in exchanging 1.5MM BBP for any other liquid crypto, or USD, please let me know and we can work out a price.
If this is against the Forum rules, please forgive me for even mentioning this, but I'd much rather have someone who wanted to sell not sell in an exchange and drive down the value, and instead work with me so I can hold it.
Thank you in advance!
-Chris
I have about 2M to sell, pm me if you're interested. Thank you! I was able to buy the 1.55MM BBP on the exchange.

I received an email from biblepay@vhst1.hostv.pl (shown as "Biblepay") saying "Your masternode [BBauqhusvhQJcjBZHgrC6r1eN5xc4DHqy7] change status from PRE_ENABLED to EXPIRED" Funny thing is that this is not my MN address. And mine is enabled at the moment. Anyway I don't recall to associate my email other than to Rosetta/BBP project and pool.biblepay.org. Who is playing with personal info?

Everything looks good! great job!, but I noticed this in your watchman.conf #network=mainnet network=testnet Looks like watchman is still set to testnet, need to change it to mainnet: network=mainnet #network=testnet Yes, I think Togo nailed it, so after changing that, and leaving biblepyd running, try your equivalent to the cron command again and verify you receive no output. If so, just let it run for a day or so and then check your sanctuaries list and you should be fine. The built-in tests have a couple bugs (that are in all distributions of flavors of MNs) so they arent really to be relied on, but actually running with no error is a good test. (It does throw errors if misconfigured). Interesting. Could have sworn the directions said to keep it as testnet. Yesterday I went through the 2nd Sanctuary creation guide, and the node seems to be up. Can anyone confirm that it looks ok even though I didn't change my watchman.conf? Thank you in advance!

I was doing a little research to find out the era when the lifespan of man dropped from 1000 years to 100, as I was thinking it was an abrupt change. (I was originally concluding because of Genesis 6:3, God commanded a change in the gene pool to abruptly change from 1000 to 100). However after doing some research it appears the trend was very smooth instead: https://wiki.biblepay.org/Genealogical_AgesSo now I believe the change was implemented to start after the flood and be complete by around the time the 12 tribes of Israel were born into a nation. Very cool Rob. I took the liberty of plotting it on a scatter plot rather than a bar chart. On the x-axis I plotted birth year before present, on the y-acix I plotted age at death. interesting stuff. https://imgur.com/a/ryqCz

missing the longest living guy: Matuzalem 969 years: translators of Bible had no knowledge of the fact that in the Old Testament, in the time before the legend of the sweat of the world. The age of man was calculated for months this is what little children learn at elementary schools in SLOVAKIA

The question is that why do we need so many currency coins at the moment ? Are BTC , MONERO , DASH not enough ?

We'll maybe if they started using 10% of their emission to sponsor orphans, spread the gospel, and used their mining computation power to help cure cancer and disease, then we maybe don't need other coins. If they started doing that then imagine how many people would be helped.

Bitcoin, Monero and Dash are not ASIC-Resistant which can lead to heavy miner centralization Bitcoin and Monero do not have a way to self fund themselves, they rely on donations (and giving money can have strings attached) Bitcoin and Monero do not have a way to make decentralized decisions BiblePay is ASIC-Resistant, BiblePay is self funding, BiblePay can make decentralized decisions BiblePay gives 10% to Charity [203 orphans are being sponsored monthly already] (and rewards writing letters to Orphans) BiblePay contributes majority of CPU cycles to cancer research Every BiblePay node is a full node BiblePay spreads Christianity (Bible verses chained into blocks, Bible built into Wallet, Transaction Prayer Requests, Rewards for reading/listening/watching Gospel links, budget for preaching, etc)
