You don't need 50K, you need 500 BBP per Magnitude. Please read the guide on biblepay-central.org

Was this 500 bbp/magnitude really activated yet? I thought it was an Idea only, and the real switch will be at 01. April.

Yeah, it's 500 BBP/MAG until April 01 Smiley

The 50'001 BBP requirement was dropped.

when those fees came oout the 1.1.2. i just got the .3 about 30 minutes ago

and computer has only been off for a total of 15 minutes since the 9th. and yes the wallet has been running the entire time, as well as boinc.

Okay, now we're getting somewhere. It seems that something is indeed wrong. I guess we'll just have to wait for Rob, because everything looks fine, but if you're not getting payments, then clearly something must be wrong...

EDIT:
looking at the blockexplorer, I can see what you meant with this comment:
Quote
on the 25th at 2:23 and at 6:43 podc update fees came out, back on the 11'th they came out 3 times, on the 10th 5 times, on the 9th 5 times also

http://explorer.biblepay.org:3001/address/BF82a4mCHgYsQVeATQQ2Xq9Mh71SX4CqM2

You didn't send out updates for a long, long time. You're probably going to be in the next block though, since it can take a day or two before you're included in a block after sending out PODC-updates.

Ok, could you please try

Code:
exec podcupdate true

Just to make sure you don't get an error code.

EDIT: And by the way, have you ever received a PODC payment?

SO not working... hmmm. I take it your computers are not hidden on Rosetta?
Are you happy to share your Rosetta username?

Also, the PODC-update looks fine Smiley It has sent an update, you just didn't solve any more tasks since the update before that.

The staking is primarily to fend against botnets. If you were following this coin, you would know that we've been fighting against - alleged - botnets, that were at one time mining about 90% of all generated coins.

Right now they are getting 0% of all coins.

Which scenario would you prefer?

It's not about pumping, it's about being able to provide BBP for everyone.
Then the pool operators are the ones you need to work with? Many different IP addresses mining to the same account and same worker, or even different workers, could be detected easily. There's no real need to require another buy-in to allow people to mine. I don't know how much or how easy it is to get the buy-in price or even what the price is/will be on April, but it's pretty crappy to require a "membership fee" of sorts for people to get involved in securing a block chain which is about Christian teachings. Wouldn't you agree?

Botnet was not on pool. Solo mining.

I think I found your Rosetta account. Looks like most of your tasks were either
"Aborted", "Completed, too late to validate", "Not started by deadline - canceled"

And you currently are not solving any tasks...

You did solve some on the 24th and 25th March, which matches up with your latest payment.
So it is possible that you were not using much/any cpu to solve Rosetta tasks.

Botnet was not on pool. Solo mining.

How would a botnet owner manage to solo mine and collect the money on a large number of machines? That doesn't make much sense to me.

its been using the 1 core that it says for staking, in the one guide... for at least a week.

it would be solving tasks if there were tasks to be solved? Cheesy rosetta@home is empty.

i have re- set it to 10 cores. but it still states on the pool site, no work done in the past hour

Ok, sorry, I meant private/secret pool. The pool source is on github.

Sorry mate, you may need to point me to the one core for staking thing. I thought it should be one core for the BBP wallet, the rest for Rosetta.
Yeah, I guess they will add more soon. It's still the weekend there I guess.

They were for sure not on the pool. We ended up getting like 6% of blocks through the pool despite most people being on there.

By the way, we are voting on the staking thing
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=127.30

EDIT: Actually I don;t have evidence to claim most people being on there

Yeah, today is not a good day for troubleshooting, since Rosetta is all out of tasks :,(

But everything is looking good. I'm sure that if you start solving tasks, you will get payed.

I don't understand this sentence:

Quote
its been using the 1 core that it says for staking, in the one guide... for at least a week.

Where does it say 'use 1 core for staking'. That just seems very wrong.

That makes more sense. But what is stopping them from acquiring or using their already mined coins to then gain more power over the network as normal people leave because of the new requirements to mine?

https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/6umlqq/how_to_mine_biblepay_on_windows/

is where i got the 1 core part, but im too tired to search for the rest, it had said something about to stake u needed at least 1 core running on the wallet.

regardless, if the other guy is able to get 200 bbp a day on an android, and i am using a 3.5ghz cpu, even at just 1 core.. i should have received well over 1400 in the past week, and i been having it run since the 8th, 18 days...

even if not much mining was being done, but you said my RAC and stuff was fine... wouldn't i have gotten staking rewards?Huh?

You only get "staking" rewards for solving computational biology problems on Rosetta. As I mentioned before, almost all of your tasks were aborted, took too long, or not started on time. My guess is that you had many other things running on your computer so Rosetta stood idle (this is it's default behaviour, to only use left-over cpu).
OK so in the biblepay wallet config file, what is your genproclimit?
