Rob,

Do you have a preference over which project management software to use?

The problem with World Community Grid, much like Rosetta@Home, there is not enough work for the amount of users/computers. They have an empty queue all of the time just like R@H.
https://gridcoinstats.eu/project/
Gridcoin Projects Status; Latest headlines, WU status and more
List of all Gridcoin Projects. Status of available WorkUnits, Recent Average Credit, Team Users, Projects News and more.
You can sort that list by the number of Work Units available.
I've joined Tn-grid, R@H, LHC@home_Classic, and Word Community Grid and all of them are not giving me any work right now, which is right in line with the available WU of 0 and -1

We're going to go with World Community Grid as our backup program.

Currently Im receiving tasks from WCG.

I don't know how it is possible, but I'm receiving tasks without problem.
Testing WCG on notebook - received tasks for 1 day.
Rosetta @ 24 core PC received tasks for 3 days.

OK so apparently WGC is not on Gridcoin so the stats are wrong.

Please, let us be sensitive to the entire user group and all investors-

World Community Grid is an excellent program, seed funded by IBM.  They are so big that they have multiple projects.

The primary reason we started with Rosetta is because they were more aligned with "healing" only.
The secondary reason I didnt want to look further into WCG is they have a bit of proprietary software intermingled inside between Boinc and WCG, to make it more customized for their own uses.  We were able to work around those issues with Biblepay.

My assumption is that at one point in history, they might have ran out of tasks on a certain project, but lets not assume that they will today - especially since they host so many.  I am under the impression we can go for a full year without an outage between both Rosetta & WCG blended together.

Let's give WCG a shot along with Rosetta.

The release should be ready within an hour.

BiblePay - 1.1.1.4
Leisure Upgrade
Mandatory for Sanctuaries

- Added UTXO Report (exec utxoreport): This shows the history of PODC Updates, the txid, the span in days between updates and the amounts
- Add support for World Community Grid
- Add exec getblock blocknumber: This is if you want to see a block without prayers (for quick searching)
- Fix exec getboincinfo (alleviates the CPID missing from prior superblock bug)
- Fix exec leaderboard (alleviates the missing from prior superblock bug)

Note:  I recommend we start updating the sanctuaries now, but I can't guarantee this is the final version until we test tomorrow with WCG.

The way this will work is once we have a supermajority of the sancs upgraded, the sancs will be creating contracts with WCG honored.

Looking at the mechanics of the WCG RAC export, they export the RAC once per day at 00:00 UTC.  So we should know by tomorrow if our old CPIDs are being registered in the contract.

Currently the network setting is :  A blended RAC with equal weight for Rosetta and equal weight for WCG.

Please check your transaction list and see if you actually got paid at midnight last night.

I think we just have two bugs in 1.1.1.1:  Inability to see your last payment (and I see the reason and fixing it) and inability to see exec leaderboard (also fixing that now).

Let me know if you were actually paid.  That would simplify things for me.

I don't see the transaction in the list.  i'm running 1.1.1.3

My balance doesn't reflect another payment either.

Snat, so now in the new version just type in 'exec getboincinfo' then copy your cpid to the clipboard then type 'exec utxoreport cpid' and lets see if you had any span between 24 hour periods with greater than a 1.0 span (in days) without UTXO weight.

If you had solid UTXO weight for the last 9 days, then it means our Sancs accidentially left you out of the contract, possibly because they came to a consensus without your CPID.  Its rare but I suppose it could happen.

The contract itself seems to be solid in general, as take myself for example Ive been in every contract except the one I left my machine off for 30 hours on (which was to be expected), and the 'exec leaderboard' is full.    I've got an item in my todo list that Ill take a look at for snapping the UTXO weight and task weight to a more stable reference point (for example, UTC 00:00:00 daily as a reference point, and all UTXO's are from that point in history).  So far we have not needed this yet, but I imagine we will need it before the June update.

One other thing I wanted to mention, anyone who is running BOINC, you might want to paste your CPID in the pool, in your account settings and take a look at the home page chart.  This chart will show any UTXO or Weight outages seen by the Sanctuaries perspective.

** Update of Huge Importance **

When you edit your World Community Grid settings, you must ensure your E-mail address in My Profile :
https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/processMyProfile.do

Equals the same e-mail address used in Rosetta@Home, so that after you save the record:
Looking at the "My Profile" Page, look towards the bottom, look for "Cross-Project-ID".  That CPID should be the same as your RAH CPID.

If it isn't please update your e-mail address to match RAH.

This will ensure your magnitude will contain the full RAC for both projects.  Tomorrow I will add a column to the Pool for WCG RAC so you can verify the RAC component flowing from WCG.

Updated my sanctuary. Are you saying that 1 WGC point = 1 RAC?

Currently  (WCG RAC * 1) + ( RAH RAC * 1) = TOTAL_RAC

Until we get a feel for the WCG Factor.

Same here.

Email address is the same for Rosetta and WCG, but the Cross-Project Ids are different.
