I'm pretty sure that my WCGRAC is wrong in biblepay network... Yesterday at some point, 'exec totalrac' showed around 12k RAC, and later that day around 9k RAC. Through 'exec getboincinfo' I saw that my RAH RAC was the same (it should have been), and my WCG RAC jumped. After that it dropped, but I am constantly working on WCG (since it was added to biblepay), so it should only go up monotonically the first two weeks (since RAC is two week average, afaik). I didn't experience these problems with RAH, before WCG was implemented in biblepay network. So, at the moment of writing, my WCG RAC reported through getboincinfo is 2972, but my BOINC shows around 7.5k. I know it should have some latency, show a bit lower than 7.5k, but my WCG RAC on BOINC was around 3k two days ago. My cpid is 307c54df37dd7a158ef9fd7dfe1a1815
So since we are integrated a little closer with RAH, I have the core wallet showing you the "current live" RAH RAC when you type exec getboincinfo using their XML call (just for cosmetic use for the user - the Sanc actually gets the RAH RAC from the nightly back-end files to allow them to come to consensus easier, thats why your RAH rac on getboincinfo is more current than the superblock view report), but anyway, WCG is a little different- when they merged with IBM, they removed some of the boinc XML calls - so we cant get the WCG RAC the same way, so we actually use the nightly WCG dump files for their RAC. Their RAC is exported to our network once per night at 00:00:00 UTC. So it pretty much stays static for 24 hours at a time. What I surmise is someone dumped the rac twice yesterday at WCG but normally that doesnt happen so you probably picked up two views of it, which I believe will be rare over long term. Later today my WCGRAC changed to 7777, and now got dropped to zero. I assume this might be the problem if you don't have active tasks then it reports zero WCGRAC? Shouldnt go to zero; whats your cpid? exec totalrac shows 0 for wcg? We are still in dr mode #1, so we dont currently look at task weight, we only look at UTXO weight. My cpid is 307c54df37dd7a158ef9fd7dfe1a1815. exec totalrac shows the same amount that getboincinfo shows for RAH RAC (which is around 6.5k), so nothing from WCG RAC. Yesterday, WCG RAC was around 2900 (which was wrong), then at some point it changed to 7777 (which was similar to what BOINC is showing), but now after midnight it changed to 0. I'm also having some problems with utxoamount, due to having multiple wallets. I saw your answers in previous posts, I'm working on solving that... So because of this there are some wrong podcupdates of 50001, but this shouldn't affect RAC? Thanks for looking into this!

I see the problem; we multiply the utxoweight * WCGRAC before returning it but we dont do that to RAH RAC. So it looks like its not affecting the actual Sanc calculation so we dont need an emergency fix or anything. Anyway it looks like you recently sent in your utxo. Now your 8000 WCG rac is showing. I see you are also showing in the pool superblock view report now. Note, You actually had 8000 wcg rac all day, it was just not being used because of the utxo problem... Please check pool superblock view & totalrac now.

Hello all, How can i POW mining with purepool with all my CPU ? i already set :setgenerate true & genproclimit = 4( or 8 maximum) But the performance CPU still at 40-50%??
I've found that I get full CPU power when I set number of threads to 4 * actual number of logical cores. For example, intel i5 with 4 logical cores, i set genproclimit to 16 for 100% power

I've found that I get full CPU power when I set number of threads to 4 * actual number of logical cores. For example, intel i5 with 4 logical cores, i set genproclimit to 16 for 100% power There is an automatic minersleep of 250ms. This means that the miner mines 250ms, then stops 250ms etc. You can put the following line in your biblepay.conf: 'minersleep=0'. It should then use all your CPU-power per thread. The minersleep is there so that Boinc won't pauze because of CPU use.

Since it is quiet, I've got kind of a low-priority question.
I've been trying to figure out what happens when a sanctuary comes online in "PRE_ENABLED" and haven't been able to figure out what actually causes the transition from PRE_ENABLED to ENABLED.
I know that watchman has to run for a while, but there appears to be a few components at work - watchman, a time period, maybe a number of blocks? What exactly is the mechanism? I'm not having any problems, but for both of my sanctuaries, they took almost exactly 2hrs to switch over, which was long enough both times (last month and this morning) to give me time to wonder.

It is a bad situation or a sign that if so quiet in forum. To be a popular altcoin, should not be like this. Since the change of new ways, many newcomers have complained in previous pages ,they may have left or switched to POW mining. If newbie don't want buy BBP though the market, just want mining to get BBP.This way will only make the gap between the rich and poor has grown in future by this method.

Bhavani, Developer #4 (We have 4 devs total working on projects) has completed his first mission and I gave him his first task, he is going to look into creating a Wysiwig editor in biblepay-qt to allow a user to write an orphan a letter. We are taking this in baby steps, his first step is to allow a letter to be written and make it formattable (IE bold, fonts, centering) and then later we are going to take a look at making a letter list in grid format in the wallet. If this works out Ill work with him on storing letters in-chain. (Were also evaluating the ability to upvote and downvote the letter by CPID signature).
I'm shooting for knowing when a CPID creates a letter, and letter approval metrics by CPID. Then in the future we may be able to add LetterWeight for part of POW mining and/or part of cancer mining (thats up in the air). The primary goal being that each CPID writes one nice (upvoted) letter per 60 day period to an orphan to maintain 100% letterweight - or maybe letterweight is affected by upvote %.
I applaud more integration with the wallet, would be great to have Sanctuary proposals and voting in wallet. However, adding letter weight to the formula could be problematic for several reasons. First and foremost, not everyone is an accomplished writer and what might look like a sloppy letter to gain the credit could actually be the best someone could do, so penalizing them is very unfair. Second, there is no guarantee we will always be sponsoring orphans at Compassion, so hard coding this to the formula could require some backtracking down the road. Finally, I think it is far better to give a gift to those who are willing to write and do well than it is to penalize those who do not. Without a committee to oversee the letter quality, it could become a huge time sink if you end up with a thousand users all writing letters.

Actually its quite normal to have a period of quietness in a random environment. Equally as it is to have a low difficulty block.

That just means its in a broadcasted state and has not been accepted by the network yet. The masternode has to prove the funds are locked, and what its address is, so other sancs can "accept" it and put it on the list for instantsend. See more in dash forum: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/masternode-is-pre-enabled.12999/

Finally, I think it is far better to give a gift to those who are willing to write and do well than it is to penalize those who do not. Without a committee to oversee the letter quality, it could become a huge time sink if you end up with a thousand users all writing letters. Well strictly speaking on the compassion.com integration part, I was thinking we would have had an adapter for each vendor, so the in-wallet letter writing would have just been persisted letters, a list, and upvoting capability. The process of dumping (from the wallet to pdfs) is still my batch job. Anyway I kind of like the idea of using PR funds for letter writing, because like you said, it rewards the letter writers who like to write, and it would also take away the 'penalization' effect of pool.biblepay.org putting it on even footing with the other pools. It would also free up Bhavani to work on something else, something I found today we need is a port of biblepay.c to stratis for the proof-of-concept Im trying to create in the background, so thats a good idea. In this particular case, I would add a proposal for about 170K for letter writing rewards from the P2P budget, and stop penalizing the miners for not writing letters, and then re-vamp the upvote system in the pool to have more security.. (Since we need about 170 letters more this month that would be about 1000 per letter reward, which is close to coercing people to write letters historically). It would also make the path to stratis a little easier as we would not need to port the letter writing interface to c# in the future. If there are no objection to this idea, I think I will put a proposal in over the next 2 days and redirect Bhavani to a stratis sub-project. EDIT: And on a side note so everyone knows, we already did integrate letter writing with BLOOM and we had 10 bloom letters already- those are sent through the bloom adapter to Jennifer who sends them to the translator automatically. The orphan record has columns for the method and vendor.
