Madpool UpdateOur pool and many other pools experienced many annoying DDoS Attacks recently. We are back online now with a new Hardware Firewall and a DDoS protection System. Our system tries to identifiy the DDoS sources and block them. We are sorry for any inconvenience our downtime caused. New AERIUM mining pool. Based on YiiMP, no registration needed! Payout every 60 minutes, 2% fee stratum+tcp://madpool.xyz:8433 Username: YOUR AERIUM WALLET ADDRESS Password: c=AERM Example for ccminer: ccminer -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://madpool.xyz:8433 -u <YOUR_AERIUM_WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=AERM Happy Mining!! And the moment you posted that, the pool went back down Our Servers are still up and running. However, there is nothing that will really protect against DDoS and it requires massive amount of bandwidth and CPU power to withstand such an attack. If pools are under attack the only option is to wait until the attack is over.

Thanks for your support. DDoS attacks are not dangerous from a security point of view, the worst case scenario is that the Server will go down. DDoS is annoying because it’s simply pointless. No data is stolen, nothing is gained from the attacker’s point of view. An effective DDoS attack requires investment in resources, otherwise, it would bounce off simple protective measures. The real reasons for the DDoS attacks are not always known: Some may use a DDoS attack as a means of expressing their frustration or disagreement towards other Websites or over-competitive business rivals may enlist the services of hackers to take out their competitors’ websites and disrupt their operations through DDoS attacks. This is by all means an improper, unethical business practice.

I had been mining on your pool before you announced you were back up so I was just laughed at the timing of it going back down as soon as you made the announcment that it was was back up.

Then thet ddos the public pools, so they don't have any competition for the coin from other miners.

ALTCOM/SIGNATUM/AERIUM
All shitcoins using Blackcoin/Peercoin code from 10 years ago! That is the simple truth. Anybody who knows how to do a simple "diff", should go ahead enlighten yourself.
This is not getting on Bittrex or any viable exchange. Guaranteed to die a slow death like others, scamming everyone here in the process.
That's not to say you can't make money from this. Simply a game of who is the bigger fool!
