WAIT, A chain split?Yeah, a chain split happened at block 55751 for unknown reasons, i have been working on it last dawn and everything should be fine on this version Do i really need to update?No, only if you are having syncing problems OR you are on the wrong chain But how i verify if i am on the wrong chain?Simply type this command on your wallet console Compare the hash with the block 60000, that is d4d19c36c9c343b6dbe4ac782cdb8ec9dfe86827fb3274ff1b3e8de380f26228, if it is different, you are on the wrong chain! Wait wait, did i lost my coins?No, you didnt lost any coins, you may have lost some stakes but when you change your chain, the coinage will make your next stake a pretty big one So, i figured out that i am on the wrong chain, how i can fix it? Simply close your wallet and go to %appdata% then rename the aerium folder to aeriumbackup, create a new aerium folder, copy the wallet.dat from aeriumbackup to aerium, you might want to backup the wallet.dat to somewhere else too. Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I am having this coin from their airdrops. Unfortunately it is stuck up in coinsmarkets exchange. Hopefully the exchange will be up and running again to grab my coins safely back. I dont want to miss this gem.

Agreed - as above, why does this have a virus? Extremely unprofessional. Either they're unaware of the virus and don't seem to care, or they're aware of it and are doing nothing about it. Not sure which is worse. |

Agreed - as above, why does this have a virus? Extremely unprofessional. Either they're unaware of the virus and don't seem to care, or they're aware of it and are doing nothing about it. Not sure which is worse. It's not a virus, just a false positive by your AV. Wallets have an integrated miner in them which is detected by the AV. Since most miners they know of are malware, they assume this too is malware. In some cases, when an actual virus is present, put there by scammer devs, you don't get 5 hits out of 66, you get 40-50 at least |

90% of QT wallets have viruses according to virus detection. Why can Aerium not be one of the 10%? My other staking coins don't give me virus warnings. I literally cannot run the QT without disabling my anti-virus, which I don't want to have to do. Especially considering there are large amounts of money involved. What do you guys do? Disable AV? Alternatively, how easy is it to compile the source code from Github? Can someone point me in the right direction for that? Thanks! |

If you want to run Aerium you can add an exception for this file. It doesn't make much difference to compile it yourself unless you make a code review first. |

Are you posting just for post count / activity? This coin can not be mined anymore. The mining phase ended a long time ago which you would not need to read many posts to see  Probably just a bot though, its a shame accounts are being sold and bots spam the forum for activity.. |

From what I know the max supply will be 500 000 000 but at the moment its somewhere around 15 000 000. Some people think the coin will hit max supply by the end of the year, its 2 months old coin, so they are currently still working on a lot of things. This is definitely one of my favorite coins. the staking is amazing and most of the people who buy this coin just stake it. I usually get 1-3% daily but sometimes I get even 10% ( WHICH IS AMAZING) People who stake the coin will keep on getting this 1-3% ( or more ) until they hit max supply. They say that in case they hit max supply too fast, they could create a fork, we will see I guess. |

This coin is the coin with the lowest capitalization in coinmarketcap, I think AERM needs a bigger exchange, not only in stock exchange, but other exchanges are also needed, such as cryptopia

I bought some coins today from stocks.exchange & transferred to my wallet. Found out later on that I'm in the wrong chain (after sending to my wallet address), what can I do in this case? I downloaded a new wallet (1.7.1) which was on the correct chain, saved the wallet.dat & copied that to the new wallet; waited for the sync to finish, but the balance still shows as 0 despite having 200+ confirmations. - Coinmarketcap.com says maximum supply: 1,931,093
- The first page of the bitcointalk thread: 500M
1. Which one is the maximum supply?
2. Why are both maximum supply different?
