Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency

I used to assume before now that bitcoin is the all and all of crypto, maybe because discovered bitcoin before other cryptos like ethereum. But over time, that assumption is at the verge of being reversed. This is because i now discovered that apart from being a means of exchange, ethereum also has the power of smart contract. Which do you think is better and has great future?

in my opinion the best for now and forever is Bitcoin, because no one can beat Bitcoin including Ethereum, so I'm sure until whenever Bitcoin will still be the king of all cryptocurrency, therefore I suggest you to invest in Bitcoin if you want to get a big profits in the future.

Both crypto currency will exist in the future if crypto becomes future of payment system and both are like gold and silver version of cryptos.There are some other coin like XMR and LTC will also have a spot on payment system.

If Ethereum is better then compare it with other altcoins, it's the king of altcoins and smart contracts that produced a lot of tokens. No need to ask this question anymore. BTC is king and ETH is going to hold second place. I can't see any real alternative to the ETH and other platforms are not strong to compete with the ETH. EOS and Waves need to develop their project for reaching the level of ETH.

Right now, mainstream adoption is still an issue for the whole cryptocurrency. I'm more concerned on how governments will adopt cryptocurrency as a whole.

I cannot choose between the two, due to both are really good hold in a long term. Although, Bitcoin was still the king of digital currency and Ethereum will remain next into Bitcoin position. In terms of price value in the market Bitcoin has still remain the highest value here and in terms of good usages in smart contract Ethereum is the best for it.

maybe if it happened, not overall, but it will happen to some assets first. like bitcoin and ethereum, and maybe that can trigger growth for other assets even though there is no adoption of all crypto assets.

Both of them have potential in the future. bitcoin as a rising race for altcoins at the moment and ethereum has been successful in developing lots of projecks on the platform so in my opinion this is indeed very good. when we are interested in investing in both of them now is the chance.

Indeed both if them have potential but in my opinion only bitcoin will value more even if more time pass, and Ethereum can also grow and someone make some profit from Ethereum also.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are undoubtedly two major cryptocurrencies that gain more influence on the market. At first blush, they seem similar, but in fact, they are fundamentally different.

There are thousands of other great crypto currencies on the market and I would not wonder if few years later NEO or EOS are going to be on the top of the market. But if you are asking, I prefer ETH, because it is more comfortable for transactions and is much faster.

Bitcoin is the most decentralized, biggest, most used, not yet hacked and the most widely accepted cryptocurrency that we currently have.

I think that someone will displace them. But perhaps it will take another 10 years. But so far Bitcoin leader. And everything rules here. I hope he succeeds in fixing on $ 7,000 this month.

Both have a significant role to play in the future of cryptocurrency but their role is not the same. Bitcoin will always continue to be the face of the entire industry while Ethereum will continue to be the king of altcoins, so both will always be very important to us.

At this point i have learnt that comparing things or in this case cryptocurrencies that do not save the same purpose does not yield the intended results. 

Bitcoin and Ethereum are totally different & I think both dependent on each other because of their contributions to the crypto ecosystem, however I still would pick BTC over ETH because of the huge demand and support it has, as can be seen by its price.

Popularity and Acceptability will always put Bitcoin ahead of Ethereum. Although Ethereum is unique in its smart contract ability, the entire cryptocurrency will still always depend on Bitcoin even in future.
