I think that ico fails only 30% of the total ico that works.
maybe the failed project is ico project that is not able to survive and has no obvious advantages.

If there wasn't a huge market for it with people continuing to invest then people would stop creating ICOs. Many people want to invest in ICO, this is one of their way to earn.

One man's failure is another man's success, you have classified ICO as if is just a body organizing them all, when one fails it does not stop the other from investing in the other and this is what we call risk taken in investment, you just need to make your own research or part with ICO. The only way to stop ICO is not to invest in it because nobody can stop ICO. ICO are like people building startup for their ideas, you cant stop it but it the idea is bad then the ICO will fail, if it is good then the ICO will success. In my opnion, ICO are like Kickstarter for business or game and people will invest in the idea/project they believe.

When people stop throwing money at ICO's then ICO's will stop.  The problem is that there are a wide range of projects, some are good and some are outright scams.  Too many people aren't doing their research and rewarding the scammers.

It's not rude for every people try to make their life better same as the icos. Many people create ico to expand their work or trying to collect funding to globalise their products and services. Not all of them failure.
a lot of icos getting success collecting funding and create a good product to sell, and then they sell their token with the high price too so its not waste time to advertise and trying. To stop icos i think there is no one can, except the crypto world crush and there is no bitcoin more.

Many ICO's struggles to get a momentum like SunContracts, a good project I watch for some time but not big enough to gain that traction it needs.
Killing ICO is simple if there are too many projects and no one interested to participated weak medium ones will die.
Failure can have any ICO without working prototype (beta version of working software) or bad marketing / introduce blockchain to a less popular category like BitJobs (STU) has everything to succeed but lacking hype/popularity.

Nope. I think it is just the main problem of the society right now, distinguishing to ore from gold.
It is indeed the biggest challenge in looking for maximum potential of ROI.

As you can see, we cannot stop ICO. Instead, we can do better solution to minimize crappy ICO.
For instance, ICO will acquire regulative contract in their localities or vouches to SEC for legalization porpuses. IN that way, we can atleast have some basis on how to pick which is which. BUt for now , we are in doomed struggle.

That's fact but I believe how ICO survive is not our problem, we only need catch opportunity make profit and leave it before too late. Become scam ( no value ) and stagnant is our risk and that's why stop loss and money management needed. ICO make crypto world more interesting, learn it and find the right moment to get profit & leave. See you next time.

ICOs can't be stopped unless everyone just decides not to participate in them anymore.  I highly doubt that will happen since some end up being very profitable.

i dont think we should stop the ico and its true many new ico coming and gone. but if you think investing in ico is not profitable for you. you just have to not invest on any ico. the truth why many people still investing on it is cause its profitable and good for investment.

For now, the ICO market really needs some regulation, otherwise it's too messy, and many ICO projects are fraudulent.
