How to stop ICO ?

Most of the ICOs are just shit or scam. I think the market will notice this too. Then the money will only flow to the good project.

You actually can't stop them or I mean to say that we don't actually need to.
The market is already over-saturated with ICOs and it's clear to everyone now that the days when any ICO makes you insta-rich are long gone.

They are actually killing themselves slowly as people are slowly fading away of them and turn to investing in crypto currencies directly as they are safer and are somewhat guaranteed that their funds won't just disappear if someone turned crazy.

ICOs are one thing in crypto that actually should stop running in the way they are. Putting the funds of so many people in danger and in the hands of some other people with absolutely no guarantees other than a simple small message saying "we will send you the tokens on ...." isn't enough.

Although I hate to say it, but they can't be decentralized and should actually be regulated by governments through some international laws or something. Just to make sure that the money goes exactly where they're supposed to do so.

Well we cannot stop them, So many investors willing to support them but in the end most of the ICO are unsuccessful. The only way we can do for those intend to make another ICO by not supporting them.

Yes to many ICO now and some of them no professional and with bad management. Then some of them many fail and many investors lose their money. Now need not  not about amount of ICO that to much but the important think is quality of the project. And I think there is a need ICO regulation to protect investors from fraud and other losses

that is part of investment to be successful or failure,and theres no need to stop the ICO because they are the one who is responsible to make alts and coins.but what we need is MAKE REGULATORY BOARD that will focus only in those newly release iCO for the reason that most of the ico now are just scammed making ICO is lot easier to make quick money without concern to the affecting bodies so they must be Regulated Asap

i think there is nothing to stop ico because there is many ways to launch the ico. for example if the government banning ico, then i am sure that the dev and the team will found many other way to launch. ico itself is one of the investment for people which have money and only expecting to make profit in the long run but we need to be selective to choose the right ico that will bring a big profit to us.

Yes, only the number of fraudulent ICO is growing every day and it is more and more difficult to recognize them, in addition there is a problem with the overestimated cost of ICO.

I agree that most of the ICO doesn't has any selling point, it just a copycat coin that hope get lucky and some of the ICO even try to scammed other  people, it is not a waste to advertise  ICO if the developer really want develop and make the coin to become successful

ICO can not to stop it because always any new idea and new concept from blockchain community, a few of them will succes and a few will fail. Now we as investor, should be extra carefull to invest in it. Learn the purpose of the project and to know their community and their personal team before make invest in ICO should be done.

There are still a few coins that will survive for a couple of years maybe. The failure is within the developers it self for not doing its job for pushing more companies and user so it can have a real ecosystem.

The state or the government can only stop an ICO but not all countries are stopping ICOs. ICO numbers increased rapidly due to tolerance and they're thinking they'll make more money on ICOs and Crypto-Currencies. China is the most notable country that is regulating Crypto-Currencies, ICO, Crypto-Currency exchange etc.

This is a free market and selfregulatory. So everyone is free to make and advertise theyre project. It is the users job to give a chance to those who are legit and to sanction the others. I think that with time , if the ico market keeps it this way, users will stop invest in ico`s and the old one will start to dissapear. There is a big need for a cleaning as many tokens  that dont belong in this market only makes the research harder.
But, as there is in any bussiness , where there are money there are people who want to take advantage of them. Its our job to invest only in the strong, well planned and with a good transparent team ICO`s
