Why people says gold is better?

People says it because gold is their example of investment. Because gold is a very precious metal that everyone know and it has stable price while bitcoin is not known by everyone. So I think that is one of the reason they people says gold is better than bitcoin.

Everyone has their own thinking, but to me being trader i will like to say that bitcoin is more better than Gold, because the profit tat we can get from bitcoin cannot possible from gold, although there is also risk  involve in trading bitcoin but still i would like to say that if a person want to earn money he must take the risk, without risk it is not possible to make money. While gold is only best for holding your assets.

I think there are 4 basic reasons.
Durability: While both require expertise for correct long-term storage, gold wins because cryptocurrencies are vulnerable to hacking through online wallets or the user’s computer or smartphone, are subject to regulatory risk, and network and infrastructure risk during a crisis.
Portability: Transferring bullion can be expensive, given its weight, need for a high level of security and high import taxes in some countries, such as India. In contrast, it’s much faster and cheaper to move bitcoins.
Intrinsic value: There’s a limited supply of gold and other precious metals in the Earth’s crust, whereas in the case of cryptocurrencies, it’s easy to create alternatives, meaning there’s effectively no control over supply at a macroeconomic level and no intrinsic value due to rarity.
Unit of account: Gold is better at holding its purchasing power, and has much lower daily volatility. Bitcoin/dollar volatility has averaged almost seven times that of gold in 2017, the bank said.

Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?

I think that the reason for it is that it is solid and deeply rooted. Bitcoin has been used only for a few years, but gold has been used for hundreds of years. i think that gold is better.becase Gold will still be a valuable item. If gold can not be used in everyday financial transactions then it is a normal thing.In ELE or Extinction Level Events, even bitcoin would be useless. Have you seen Doomsday Preppers? Gold is the standard.

Gold and bitcoin have differences, gold has a high value and stable price. While bitcoin is a digital currency and is not shaped but the value is equal to the price of gold so I think gold remains more valuable than bitcoin. and bitcoin is unstable because the current price falls

We all have different opinions but for me bitcoins still better more than gold. Bitcoin is obtainable by any people and it is a digital currency that you can convert on fiat anytime while gold is an asset and you cannot just simply trade it for money.

Yes gold is better to bitcoin in the way of stable price but you can't have it if you are not a rich ones it is hard to trade also if you are have not a knowledge of using it that's why I don't have a gold in my place and I don't know how to use that in the market that's why it is better to me to use bitcoin for my own.

Try to see from a different angle, I mean gold is not an easy to use payment tool because sometimes we need a letter or a proof of ownership, but on the other hand gold has little risk because the gold value is quite stable and often used as a place to store assets.

If they knew about bitcoin, they would shift their assets to bitcoin
