obviously need altcoin because we do trading so need altcoin if i will not take altcoin then how i do trading? so if you need trading then must be need altcoin.

Yes wee need altcoins because there's so many useful altcoins like ethereum, we need eth to buy altcoins as a payment and you can't trade without altcoins and not everyone have funds to buy bitcoin.

I think that altcoins can be compared with the moments of different states. There is a huge number of different countries, And every country has its own currency. It also happens with cryptocurrencies.

I dont really know if we need them but it is good they exist. Of one of the known coins in the market fails we still have options. And besides developers i think will never stop to develop new coins as it benefits them and others as well.

There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
Yes we do, because most altcoins happens to have different function and uses that complements some unique services or just the value of the transactions itself. Bitcoiin cash and bitcoin gold are somewhat enclosed with bitcoin itself plus users and investors tend to have different kinds of altcoins in their portfolio instead on focusing on just one group. |

We need diversity so that no coin will have an ultimate monopoly. These new coins are an improvement over the older coins. The world is a dynamic place and so this changes all the time

Well, if you take this in consideration.. without ETHEREUM, there wouldn't be altcoins at this moment, well, at least, tokens.
Ethereum created the ecosystem of "creating a brand new token for every shit" and that is the reason of why there are 1000's of tokens on the market.

Yes ofcourse I think it is good to engage some altcoins because they have all variety all of altcoins is profitable when goes up in the market. We need some altcoins to exchange in btc too.

There are some altcoins that have a real usage, all those altcoins are the ones that really need to be on this market. But yes, it is true that there are some coins that are not even worth it. |

this is not a matter of need or not, but crypto gives everyone the freedom to make investments, as long as many people are drawn to ico then the new altcoin will still appear

My hopes are with PRG, as they are launching their first co working space, the idea is worth investing and I think that this is the best cannabis coin out there. Other than that I believe in Alts that have a promising team are going to gain exponentially. Have a look at the following: EOS, QTUM, AION, GAS, PRG and NEO These are the projects that I’m going for, I have good hopes for these. |

If you need some extra bucks in your pocket, yes! Altcoins provide us with options aside from Bitcoin to earn big profit. Due to their lower price and considerably lower market capitalization, altcoins have a bigger room or space for growth. So profit with altcoins is very possible especially on long term.

Lamden's mainnet launches in Q4 this year, I have to say that this project is promising and showing good signs of growth. Projects which can rise exponentially should be your first priority, there are some decent projects out there that you should check out. GOLEM, TAU, NANO, and ADA. These are my fav at the moment go for these. |

yes, i believe altcoins have future, its not that Bitcoin is already godlike and because it has a golden value or have very high price is that its perfect coin already, but it still has its flaws and lacks some things just like its digit in decimal place its somewhat very difficult to read for other people and some famous american citizen didn't even know what bitcoin is. That's why altcoins are created to fill the gap that bitcoin lacks.

not a few people use altcoin to achieve maximum profit. they may feel that bitcoin is too expensive, and too risky. so they use altcoin to find another way, and make a lot of money from it. |

I do not think all need it, we just have enough bitcoin more. Because by having a lot of bitcoin alone we are quite happy and have a lot of profit, but we also quite dizzy thinking bitcoin prices are sometimes up and down. This makes investors depressed, even there must be investors who have mental disorders if we do not have a strong mentality.
