last time when BTC price went down (last weekend), all the other alt coins went down with it, now most alts coins are totally ignoring btc. But the moment btc starts to gain again, it will be a bloodbath (waiting for that very patiently  )

Holding is the best option when you see in future it will rise in the short term. But if you think that it might fall more and take a longer time for the recover than I would suggest you to sell and buy again at the dip or do trading the next alternative in the mean time to make some money .
