I think it would have no sense if everybody just keeps it as an asset, we need Bitcoin to flow trough. Of course, you should save Bitcoins, but you could also use them sometimes (but an amount you could not regret 'losing'), not really like daily stuff, but sometimes here and there. I know I like when I buy something with Bitcoin , but I like money so I keep it balanced between spending and saving.

Holding of bitcoin is a good idea.
But how long can you hold or save your bitcoin.?
I'm sure for only in short period because you need it to withdraw for your personal needs.
To me personally, I will hold as long as I can. As long as no urgent needs, I will never sell my bitcoins. Why sell it for a bike when you can buy a car later with the same amount of bitcoin  Early adopters are now millionaires because they keep on holding all this time. Keep on believing, we all will be rewarded well |

I myself was hesitant, if saving bitcoin for too long
and my main fear is about pishing, theft is done by hackers, because there are many incidents of loss of bitcoin
I was scared, when I woke up one morning, went to open my wallet and found my bitcoin vanished.
I can not imagine it

Don't be hesitant if it will took for long or not, let us always be remember that if someone or all of us are hesitant when it comes to investing or savings and none of us will do it, do you think that we are still here? or the cryptocurrencies were still exist? I doubt, so I don't hesitate no matter what. |

basically bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, this is one of the reasons why bitcoins are created. but seeing the price is increasing from year to year, this seems to turn into an asset for investment. but I enjoy this situation, because bitcoin has given many benefits to many who hold it (including me).

Well, in fact, I have been doing this for more than six months. So far I do not need to show my investments and sell my crypto-currencies and they do show good results.  |

If you thinks bitcoin's rate will increase in the future, then its okay to saving Bitcoin .Most people hodl their bitcoin and wait till prices hit to the highest or to what they aim to their target price and sell. Long term is the best because many believe that the price of bitcoin will increase in the next years.

I think It depends on the situation, for now, gather as much as you can, because definitely bitcoin will pump again with unexpected prices you can not imagine, and save for your future goals, but in the end once you reach the price you wait , You can drag it and spend it where you want it. just a piece of advice, hold for 3 years to get more profit.

bitcoin is the same as we save. when the market price is rising bitcoin, it's time for us save it, this is called saving. but once the bitcoin is down, then we sell it. this is the savings I see invested this bitcoin.

Even though bitcoin is nowadays treated as an asset ratger than a currency it still behaves like currency. If you only buy then hold it/save it continuously, there would come a time when bitcoin would drop in value due to the low number of bitcoins currently on circulation. So saving bitcoins is good as lomg as you still practice trading or using these bitcoins into transactions. This way you are preserving bitcoin's relevance in the market therefore helping it survive.

I like your idea of saving or holding your bitcoins earned from joining various campaigns like signature campaigns, social media campaigns, and other bounties. This is one of the best ways to earn money and I am sure that bitcoin's price will still go high on the next months or weeks, we do not exactly know but there is one thing I am sure about it, if its value is lower now then there will be the time when its value will become high or higher than we all expect from it to become high. That idea is good though. That is also what I am doing right now but there is always be a time when I really need to convert to cash and spend it because I do not have extra money to spend for my daily expenses. If only I have enough money to use for my daily expenses and allowances them I don't have to convert all the bitcoin I earned, I think all of my earning already grew higher than I expected.

if we wait just as the bitcoin price has increased it will just be a waste. we'd better sell when bitcoin prices have increased, rather than wait for the ultimate to get nothing. |
