I am totally impressed by the shipping time of BFSB!

Best time ever, ordered yesterday, got them today at noon. It was too fast for me and I was away from home, fortunately DHL called me and dropped it at the station so I could pick it up on my way home.

Now if the prices could slide a little bit down to match the Cointerra Menace, that would be perfect, but I prefer to pay the right price for hardware that really ships same day as order than to deal with more pre-orders (stuck with Bitmine already...)

tl;dr: Very happy customer! Will buy again

+1 to the excellent service Smiley

Is there any chance we'll see bare chips back on sale any time soon?

Can anyone tell me what spacers I should use to keep boards with heatsinks apart - I was thinking ~15mm non-conductive...

I heard a rumor there would be a Bitfury 2 chip end of Feb (read March).  Wink

At 1W per chip the current generation outperforms Antminer with half the power, it's the same as KnC Miner who "only" promised 30% less W/H in their 20 nm design... when their 28 nm is about the same as BitFury.

Do we have a CoinTerra/Bitmine killer? Smiley

yes asicminer will basically kill all outstanding chips with their new Gen3 chip that will come out March, 40nm 0.2J/GH to 0.4J/GH how does that sound? of course they still need to confirm this news with a working chip...

Of course Smiley

The 0.2-0.4J/GH looks impressive (still a wide range, however), now that's only one variable.

Availability (out of the hands of friedcat) and ultimately price per GHS will be the other significant parameter for the market. I sold off my AM shares before the downfall of the securities game in 2013 but I'm considering getting back in for sure.

Anyway, at the current stage of the mining game BitFury is still a safe bet at 1J/GH (vs 2 for the oversold IMHO Antminer)

I agree, for now nothings beats Bitfury for sure even the supposed 28nm chips.

but I am sure that FC will beat all of them, I didn't sell my shares, I still have them, interesting fact is that in havelockinvestment.com the price already rising back, it is now at 0.625BTC/share and there is no volume to keep it from going even higher,  you can just imagine the dividends from the mining and selling of these chips  Wink

i am just a noob in here but i had that feeling that BITFURY and AM where to become both very important in the future. KNC, BFL, ANT, and other COINTERRAs are just scammers that doesnt really know what they are doing. I'd see BITFURY as the handcrafted rolls royce quality and AM as mass production toyotas ^^ could be awsome if AM merged with BITFURY in the future Cheesy

edit: disclosure: i only bought 1 full kit from bitfury and some AM shares and kept the rest of my BTCs (no altcoins, no other securities and no other preordered s**t) best investment ever i think. Smiley

Yeah thanks for the fast delivery. Unfortunately, the 4 new cards brought more troubles than hashes: i was happily hashing along with 8 cards, getting about 260GH/s but now with 12 cards, i'm riddled with miso and spi errors, and i still get only 260GH/s. I can get the setup to run @ 350 for a while, but then something happens and errors galore.

I've tried switching the cards around and that did help initially (initially i thought two of the new cards were duds), but that didn't last long. The funny thing is that now the cards that were running without problems have started to act up... i even had two slots die on me, i couldn't get any card to show up in those. But after some restarts and card switcheroo, they are alive again. Heh, i knew that these aren't the easiest to get running, but this something else.

Oh well, back to tweaking...

Well got it running @ 350 GH/s stable, with chainminer autotuning. I beefed up the 12V and ground rails beneath the M-board and also now feeding power to the connectors on the other side of the m-board, but don't know how much that actually helped because i needed to do more card switching to get all cards show up.

There's still one card showing only 20GH/s, few chips are almost 0GH/s. That has has been running over 30GH/s before, so there's clearly something still not quite right. I haven't upped the voltage yet, maybe i'll try to see if overvolting the card or cards in the same bank would help.

Nice ... this is interesting .. will there be reels for public sale ... ? Later ?

As otherwise I don't see the point if there is no support in chips for DIY.
