Congratulations to the BFSB-Team for precisely meeting their delivery time  Grin I guess this October a mining hardware manufacturer will have shipped all their orders within "two weeks".

Can I assume your customer service is a bit stressed out in the moment, because of all the shipping? Last week I was used to receive an answer within minutes or a few hours, but now I am waiting since friday for the confirmation of a refund. Punin, could you give an estimate on the response time for e-mail inquiries at the moment?

Thank you.

We will process refunds after we process orders.

Thanks for you answer. I just wasn't sure whether you even received my mail or not, because I was used to shorter response times. But when you say that at this time longer response times are normal, I'll be calm.
I was a little nervous, because I originally received the refund in BTC, then determined that this sum was not the equivalent to the paid sum in Euro, and then sent the BTC back with Niko's agreement to now receive the refund via SEPA.

^see my edit to the post. turns out whatever switched it from 54[5] -> 136  also changed the aIfDSo -> aifdso

i returned it to the capitalised form and its active again  Cheesy   waiting for hashrate to climb and stabilize right now

Good to know!

Because I was wrong, it reads what it finds!

Autotune does not go higher than 57, but during startup it reads what you have in your file, than it passes it to the function that programs chips and there I'm not sure it does not try to set it faster than 57, I have to spend some more time inside that code ...

Smiley

spiccioli

well as i said, theres no way i set 136 as the timing value. I was changing it from 55 to 54, so 554 or 545 are the conceivable saved numbers. how it uncapitalised the aifdso command i have not a clue - failsafe perhaps?

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

1) You seam to not understand what you are talking about. It is not important if it is 28nm, 55nm or 1nm. The power efficiency is important.
2) If you order now, knc will not ship until November 15. I believe punin will offer immediete delivery after shipping current batch.

Bitfury chips are still the most efficient available and the faster difficulty increases the faster you'll need that efficiency.

ps. it is true, though, that they're overpriced.

np... if you are using customized best.cnf, you may want to try to get rid of it and let the improved auto-tuning to do its job. In my case, the improved auto-tuning provided additional 10% hashpower.
I may have been too kind to the improved auto-tuning. Today morning, half of the chips were turned off and half of the hashing speed was gone. I used the new /tmp/.best.log as a base for new best.cnf and turned the auto-tuning off. Seems to be working again very well.

KNC start deliver many orders now, thousand Jupiters/Saturns. All this October machine get free 25-30 extra hash power. After deliver that, power efficiency BF chip  will not matter because the difficulty will increase drastically.

Update:

We're progressing through orders in more or less consecutive fashion. We're now finishing late 400's and well into 500's. Some orders take more time to prepare, which is causing non-consecutive completion.

Thank you to all of you who chose to stay with us. We're working hard to deliver your gear in time. And as we used to say in Finnish Demo-scene "fuckings to lamers" (who cancel their order after we put so much work and effort into producing it on time as promised.) You're not many, and you won't be missed nor served in the future.

P.S. There are 2 satoshi -related easter eggs hidden in both our hardware and software. Can you find them? First to post both gets a FREE H-card, so don't post if you find only 1! Wink

Well that sucks, didnt have my order yet so no access to the software to find the easter egg there.

Already guessed the mboard had that genesis block on. But also the date on the hboard is also the bfsb start date (+- 1 day)

I hope next time punin does a competition, he will wait until most orders are delivered

Very clever finding the Easter eggs!  Curious, what did you grey-out?  You can tell us now, you've won.  Smiley

You still don't get the point. KnC is short-time amusement until the big guys like HashFast or CoinTerra get on the playground, Bitfury is not. When some time next year KnC owners shut down their miners because of energy inefficiency, these chips punin auctions here will still be happily mining. KnC wastes double (yes, double) the electricity compared to anyone else. In November it is unimportant, but in April it will be crucial.

There are always the generic easter eggs

"apt-get moo"

and then

"aptitude moo"

you'll need to figure out the rest of what he showed....

But these are not Bitfury specific...

Sorry - you have just been eaten by a grue

No offence here either, but KNC's chip is consuming about 1.5W/GH. How is that better?
