Yes, I want sell part of production.

I wonder what is the demand here. If there is anyone willing buy please post how many boards.
Price cards because of the cost of purchase of chips will definitely not be less than:

320$ - 16x Bitfury chip
35$  -  rest part
Huh   -  PCB/assembly

Tomorrow after I get final quotation for PCB and assembly post complete price.

I would be interested in up to 16 h-boards. But the price is a bit high, around $299 would be a much nicer number.

In this moment price below 300$ are mission impossible. Bitfury chip cost in 3000 piece reel 20$ per chip. 16x20$ =320$ for one board.
I'm open for any form help/cooperation. If anybody have access to cheaper asic I can assembly it.

Want to say thanks? 16ragydppe9QFRVhrdwEUjgfMS7KCfEFGY

Update:

Hello and please accept my apologies for radio silence. The boards that we received are running quite hot, and I decided that we cannot sell them without heatsinks. We've also been extremely busy building a mine here in Finland for a very big private customer while we wait for heatsinks for the new boards. The heatsinks have been in production for some time now. First the custom 150kg heavy tool is being manufactured from steel, then we will have a test extrusion (should happen next week) and then we go into full production. So I would say in about 2-3 weeks time we should be able to start shipping a safe product.

I'll try to find time to list the new boards and some RedFury USB sticks we have up on the site later today or tomorrow. I'm also doing my best to get some old H-cards delivered so we can ship them to you.

Regarding chips, it's looking grim. Chips are currently in wirebonding, and should be ready soon, but these have nearly all been sold already. I might have a few chips available in late november to early december. I hope to get some more reels and trays into the shop by mid-december, but cannot promise anything. Please keep this in mind when designing your own boards.

Do you think it's a good idea to do preorders on this new hardware or should I list it on the site when they're ready to ship?

Your shipping history is confirmed to be of very high standards. So I would not mind preorders.

In fact it might even be a better option. It would allow me to be prepared for setting up the miners (calculating energy, space and cooling needed to run them). Few h-boards can be set up in no time, but even medium-large order takes some time to get online.

Maybe half stock as preorders and other half as "off the shelf" shipping when ready?

If your new board is the same as US v2.2 H-Board then I'll buy some without any heatsink now. No need to wait 3 weeks since they only need enough cooling to run and I already got some heatsink leftover from my US Oct Kit.

For me both options are viable - a little boost for loyal customers would maybe be nice, like give them the option to buy 1 to x boards for themselfs before you re-open sale for everyone.

The boards that we received are running quite hot, and I decided that we cannot sell them without heatsinks.
Q1: Can they be undervolted to prevent overheating and add the heatsink later ?

Pre-order is fine, you have earned my(and probably a lot of others) trust.

If you add them to the shop, and if the answer to Q1 is yes, can you please also add them without heatsink for a slightly lower price. [ I would add a clear warning that they come as is (no guarantee) and require undervolting or forced cooling and a heatsink ].

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

I am for preorder, for 1 simple reason:

I dont want to check the website every day just to order, or find out that the 1.2 H boards are sold out in 10 minutes.

If we paid the starter kit 1000 euros, I am expecting BFSB to provide upgrades.

and if u pay for pre-order now, for a product that comes in ~1 month, and meanwhile KNC and cointerra delivers, and difficulty jumps like hell, whats the logic ? pre-order created problems always !

maybe punin will say he will have a new product in hands in 1 month, takes pre-orders, but when he receives the products , testings needs to be done, if testing fails, like he just said upper, more time will be needed , and u will just regret your money

ill stick for "IN STOCK"

your logic is faulty, because difficulty will jump no matter what.

yes, exactly! difficulty will jump just like that: if cointerra doesnt deliver somebody else will. from my perspective it doesnt really matter who will deliver.

it depends ... when you get your order (time) ... and "In Stock" items tend to be faster in your hand ... as "PreOrder" items ... so "In Stock" let's the customer decide much closer to the actual mining situation then a "PreOrder" that can be delayed by several more things ... then an "In Stock" item ....

Punin and co have certainly earned our trust with their excellent service and by honouring (and indeed exceeding) what they promised to do. I'm sure that they would continue to do so with further pre-orders. However, the pre-order model is not a good thing for miners. The feedback loop that would ordinarily slow the sales of mining hardware (or reduce prices) as difficulty rises is disrupted in the pre-order model and this leads to a big risk of over saturating the market and keeping hardware prices artificially high - we've seen this already. If all manufacturers were selling from stock, the market should develop a bit more normally (possibly/hopefully) and our stress levels might stabilise too Wink. I would definitely vote for in stock sales - keep showing the others how it should be done Punin!

Having said that, it is frustrating to keep checking the website every hour for new stock. Micky25's suggestion would be great - we'd all love to fill up our $1000 starter kits soon!

Bitcoin can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

trust, yes, i trust punin the most from all these sellers in here, no doubt abt that, but there can be some many factors to f*ck up a pre-order (look at asic chip delivery), where i myself lost BTC too, and so on ...
