Hmm,, while I believe this is a great idea for Facebook and Google to make their own cryptocurrency, it will surely affects Facebook inc stocks and alphabet stocks if happen.

It doesn’t look like they would do their own currencies. These are too risky and too expensive. Maybe they look at possibility to make their coins or tokens based on other currencies (like BTC or Ethereum).
Btw, I noticed that it is very popular now through ICOs to make their currencies basing on Ethereum Networks. One example is Kickcity, which is already have operating revenue and will hold ICO in February.

but the sad thing is people will but Ripple i can just about live with for now
given that the miners here are even worse than bankers.
Just where and who does double agent S-M work for since he created

Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't think anyone would want miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.
This forum is the best place if they are planning to create an ico. Cryptocurrency will be taken seriously in the next few years because there are a lot of professional crypto analyst just like google and maybe it will be fully accepted by different countries as well. |

In my opinion, why would the 2 giants in internet will create their own coin if they can invest in different coins already. They have so much money that they don't need the sales they will get in the crowdsale in case they will create a new coin. Instead of creating a new coin, they must invest in other coins now that has potential.

maybe today they will not think of going into the crypto world and digging bitcoins, but slowly they will realize that crypto and bitcoin are not just commodities, but also as currency in the virtual world. and mark zuckerberg had begun studying the crypto world, and he seemed interested.

And after them... Amazon!!! very good topic, I believe google for sure is already working on its own crypto. They should like to be at the party, I´m afraid! Why would every company come up with their own crypto currency if it is a mere copy of bitcoin,then there is nothing worthy about it,if they can come up with a better technology which super seeds what bitcoin can represent to the world,then there is a big opportunity ,but people are here in this platform because it is decentralized and people are not looking for a centralized solution.
True, it appears that they just want to earn money from possible investors instead of actually making an innovation from bitcoin and other first cryptocurrencies to make the market and the system much better and efficient. I think they just want to make money themselves and trying to get in the cryptocurrency hype as long as possible. |
