Hey LabRat,

Can you please post updates on bitfunder as well? I've been searching myself clueless to find info regarding the freeze and consecutive dividend payments Sad

Also I noted this on your website:
Quote
Dividends This Week

I'm going to take the asset list image from 12 noon EST today and pay out dividends based on that list manually this week.

Along with the help of an investor, I'm working on securing an automated payment system for LRM dividends, but for this week and possibly next I will have to pay out manually.  This is a task sending hundreds of transactions by hand, so unfortunately I will be charging a small fee until the system is automated.  This will be BTC0.025 per individual.  If your dividends for the week are of equal or lesser value, you will not receive dividends this week.  It appears the amount of bonds you must have in possession is ~20 to receive dividends.

This is not a permanent fixture in the LRM payout system!!!

Once automated, the only charge will be the transaction fees through the bitcoin network (generally BTC0.0005)

If you are curious as to why there were no transaction fees on bitfunder, that is due to the fact that the bitcoin never officially changed hands. The BTC stayed in their holding wallet and the numbers on the website changed.

Is that still correct? You are charging us $5 per shareholder for sending dividends?

You currently have 358 unique shareholders on Bitfunder. Are you saying you need $1790 to process dividend payments?? I really hope you forgot a 0 (or two there) otherwise I'll do it for you for a lot less (bitcoind sendmany??).

Good job on the rest though.
Cheers,

No more fees are being charged. This was a one time thing due to BitFunder shutting down and he had to work some unexpected extra hours. I quoted him below:

Is the current payout for everyone? Is there a fee for this payout?

Everyone who was confirmed with me, you being one of them, received divs.  8 confirms already.

NO FEES as I stated previously.  Last payout was the only one...

Due to what???
@ the moment dividends with that "fee" was paid, BitFunder was working as it was before it.(as i know)
So the straight payout was LabRats idea.

Oh really? You really think this is good explanation?

At the time, the payout with fee was made, was BitFunder working as normal also for US customers?

I don't get it.. Was a fee charged or not??

If it was why the hell so much? And indeed don't say because he worked a few hours.. I don't recall an hourly wage being part of the LabRat plan..

Also, why a fee per person and not simply a fee per share? I can understand that the true costs from dividend payment (transaction fees and such) but those should be on a per share basis not on a per person basis! If anyone should be paying fees it should be the people entering addresses in the btc address field on bitfunder.

Lastly will trading on Bitfunder be enabled again in the future? Or will LabRat move to another exchange? Why don't u just unfreeze it untill 1st of December?

I know it annoys you to have to read this thread, but you'll find that answers to most of your questions are here if you look.

There was a fee only for the October 15th dividend payment. It was per shareholder and not per share because that's what LabRat decided to do (dictator get's to make the rules).

There was no fee in yesterday's dividend payment.

LabRatMining is effectively no longer available on BitFunder.  The asset is frozen and in the process of being delisted.  Trading is now only via these forums and must be coordinated with either LabRat directly or with grnbrg.

Might things be different in the future?  Maybe, but no specific plans have been announced.

If you know, why don't u do something about it? At least I know of the existence of btctalk.. There are also people that just use bitfunder... I don't mind reading the thread.. I also don't mind reading labrat.com, I also don't mind reading news on Bitfunder.. What I do mind is that the important information is not in 1 place but spread out over different places. That is a choice and a bad one if you ask me.

There was a fee only for the October 15th dividend payment. It was per shareholder and not per share because that's what LabRat decided to do (dictator get's to make the rules).
And you think asking 1800 bucks to pay some dividends is normal? Even for a dictactor Tongue?

We'll just have to see then I guess..

Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset (yet), I'm just suprised to see how this has been handled, and I would like to see one place with all the relevant information. Also if I'm the only one thinking it weird to pay LabRat money for just doing what he's supposed to do I guess I just have to live with it. I can't think of any good reason to charge well willing shareholders $5 for giving them what the are owned in the first place. If I want to get screwed I go to my bank :p

Cheers

In case you don't know who tyrion70 is, he runs a mining security/group buy with 3x the hashing power of LRM (ADDICTION). He also runs an investment fund (DISCOVERY), which apparently invested in LRM (or he did personally).

He ran a flawless IPO, share distribution for 3 separate group buys fairly on bitfunder, AND handled with bitfunder closeout with no fees or expenses added to his users. His management fee is transparent and well known, his mining address is public (all things people are asking LR to do). He knows what he's talking about.

What are you talking ?
Seriously....you talk about spreading the info over different place ?

Last time i checked ADDICTION Bitfunder page the last news was :

We need to check the BTCtalk thread to find info....

Please read below text carefully!

Since we haven't received any more miners yet we weren't planning on issuing dividends today. We expect to get some definitive news on remaining miners tomorrow which would mean we can pickup more on friday.

bla bla bla bla

This window is open after dividends are payed for the next 48 hours: 2013-10-09 2000 GMT. Don't transfer shares after that time until we say so!! If in doubt please just wait.. we have until the 1st of November to finish this..

Allright, guilty as charged on that count.. I'm not saying I'm flawless Wink Won't defend against that either. You are simply right, and I will correct that.

Mea Culpa, I will refrain from asking questions ever again until I'm 100% sure I haven't made any mistake myself again. Thanks for pointing that out.

Sorry for bothering.

Cheers,

Edit: on a side note; I think LabRat is doing a wonderful job so far (like I said in my first post).. And I know firsthand that all this Bitfunder misery is causing everyone including myself a shitload of work. I just hope that everything will settle down again and LabRat will have an easier time paying dividends in the future.

No, I don't think it was reasonable, and I said as much in this thread a few pages ago Smiley  I still have no power to make LabRat agree with me.

Sorry, for some reason I got the silly idea u were affiliated with LabRat.. Anyways like I said above i'm hoping LabRat finds a way to make shares tradeable again and finds a way to get information to the people simple (@Fractal: So I can copy the idea Wink)

I posted a thread for making offers.  It's better than nothing, but hopefully the LRM automated solution will be coming out "soon", whatever that means.

Great. Would be better if Lab_Rat or grnbrg did it, but it will work anyway.

Please add this grnbrg message to the thread, where specifies how the trading will be done.

I still don't understand how grnbrg is affiliated with LRM and where his reliability comes from that he's eligible to act as escrow / asset manager.

I spent a lot of time on the BFL forums and shoutbox, and built a reputation there.  Based on that reputation, @Lab_Rat trusts me to accurately process trades and report them to him for recording.  Not that I intend there to be much left to to trust....  When I log a trade with him, the email will include the signed trade request from both parties, and therefore unfakable.
