Yes, these are the constraints that punin doesn't seem to have as he is solely a reseller. Hence faster ship times.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

This kinda puts us in US under big disadvantage.
We pay roughly (i haven't checked in a while) same as EU customers yet we get same product 3-4 weeks after EU. And we all know what that means.

I had posted this in the support thread. I'm hoping to get a quicker response here.

I had been using BTC Guild since I had gotten my miner, and everything was fine up until last night when BTC Guild got hit with a DDoS attack. Since then, I am not able to connect to BTC Guild or any other pool (I've tried 50BTC, Eclipse, and Bitminter). Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

EMC is working for me too and are you using port: 3333 for first one

No ping on BTC Guild. Guess it is still recovering from the DDoS.

Thanks, using port 3333 did the trick. Any reason as to why their site says to use port 8337?

Remember that Dave is just a resseler. Tytus is a producer of the boards and founder of 100TH mine. MBP is a host of 200TH mine and is obligated to deliver this hash power as fast as possible. That means no stock for resseling. Punin only resseling thats why he has stock and already sends October orders.

The next two weeks are crucial for ROI. US ROI estimate: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/15281afd05. Not looking good.

EU customers are going to get decent ROI due to early delivery. http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/333c1299c7

Don't forget to set the Initial Mining Date.
You had it set to September 1st. Try November 1st.

Also, I believe your 100% Difficulty Increase / Month is very low.. I set it to about 150%.

Ignore the date. Just pay attention to the starting difficulty.

Gotcha..., you don't think it will be ~200MM in a week? and like >250MM when you get the full kit?
KNC miners are supposed to be hitting the street soon as well as BF EU kits.

That's going to depend on when Dave actually ships. EU customers are already receiving their kits and mining at 150MM. Huge win for them.

Ugh. $8k for an end of October order is starting to give me heartburn... I should probably look into a less stressful hobby, like rock climbing, or base jumping...

I hear you brother. That's why I sit on the sidelines and eat popcorn hoping these units don't ship on time so I can try to recoup some of the money I wasted on Asicminer gear.

Seems whomever ordered any of these kits August or October delivery threw money into a black hole.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say that, but it's reasonable to say we're paying close to a $2,000 USD premium for these full October units if they are shipping towards the last half of the month.

Sadly you're right, same here on the other side of the pond.

It is true that August kits can be overclocked massively, so a 400 GH/s full kit is able to mine at around 550-580 GH/s, but even at 580 it won't repay itself and KnC seems to be on the right track to deliver, which will make things even worse.

It's really sad, since these units are wonderfull, 500 GHs in such a small form, with so little energy use... but waaay overpriced.

H cards have a good chance at ROI, provided you can OC each card above 34 GH/s (this takes time and some skills).

I predict Hcards will ROI in Fiat at 3-7 months timeframe.

Starter kit by itself does not have a good chance.  (only if you bought during August).

Full Kit can ROI  3-7 months.

Again ROI in fiat, not btc.  Assuming prices stay around $140/btc and that one can maintain each card at an average of 34Ghash/sec per card for months at a time 24/7/30.
