I've been following this thread for a long time very closely. I finally got a membership to the site and can finally post!

I've been very interested in this company and I am definitely cheering it on as it grows.

One request though: Would Ken be willing to send some proof of his visit to California to show that he is indeed actually there? It's not difficult to verify and is good for the sake of transparency and gaining trust. I think it will definitely make a lot of investors happy to see it.

Thanks and good luck!

I thought of suggesting this - even a cell phone snap of a ticket stub for the flight would be pretty good...

You guys are so dumb. Do you not think that  eASIC would have something to report after this  meeting? As would ACtM - and the deal would be backed or refuted by eASIC within hours. Really guys get a brain.

I see there's a tender offer to convert AMC shares to ActiveMiner shares. Can anyone summarize what the pros and cons of doing this tender would be for a shareholder? As far as I can tell it's optional but it's not clear what it means to the lay investor.

Finalising a deal, signing off, etc usually takes time. There may be details to work out, the contract needs to be drawn up if it hasn't been already, may need some lawyering, payment may need to go through before anything can be announced, and so on.

If it's today then great but it could be a couple of weeks before Ken can give real confirmation.

So don't start a panic if you don't hear today or tomorrow or Monday, although it'd be good to have something posted from Ken tomorrow or Saturday Smiley

AMC shares only get profits from mining and 10% sales.
ActiveMining shares get profits from mining and 100% sales.

Any significant contract for the organization I work for is typical read over on day one, sent to lawyers, and then it can be anywhere from 1-5 business days before we hear back from lawyers to close loopholes and wording that can be interpreted multiple ways.

I'm out tonight, but checking in, and in reading this thread just now, I feel like I need to chime in.  Firstly, we are not selling Avalon VMC miners, what is being sold is The Fast Hash One.  If you are an investor, asking for a picture of a flight ticket, a report right after a meeting, or proof positive that he and eASIC are sitting down to finalize a deal, then you need to adjust your outlook.  I don't mean it to be harsh, but coming from someone who travels a lot for business, even the most immediate things that other's may think should transpire right now, can and should be held for a more attentive time frame.  Ken had a schedule, and regardless of you or me, he is sticking to it.  If your faith is THAT fragile, then bitcoin securities shouldn't be your avenue.  I get that this industry is full of mistrust, but really..? what more do you need? Have we become that jaded where even someone up front isnt trusted? I understand certain worries, but thinking this meeting with eASIC is or was fabricated just shows... well it shows lack of business sense.  Ken could not make up a meeting in a space such as this, with a company like eASIC.

It definitely does not show a lack of business sense. You shouldn't act as though it's ridiculous to ask for small acts of good faith, especially when he is in control
of over a million dollars of capital raised by those who have showed their faith in ActM so far. And he could very easily make up something like a trip to California, I'm not sure why you think that's impossible.

Let me be clear, I'm not trying to spread FUD by any means. It's a fair request considering that many people stand to profit simply from the potential positive news of the trip. Just trying to make sure it's honest.

Even if he made everything up and tried to run away with the money, he wouldn't get away with it due to the precedent being set by the SEC going after Pirate for the BST Ponzi scheme. If Ken defrauded investors he would face the same fate, especially since we know his name and what he looks like, people have met him in person, etc. I am fully confident that Ken is working hard to build ActM into a large and successful business because his own success will follow closely.

All of this is growing tiresome. Anyone who has a decent stake in the company knows how it works. Time after time Ken has come through with the goods at every "hurdle". I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you are ready to cash out because he isn't giving live twitter updates throughout a meeting, sell. I will gladly buy up all of your shares and laugh once again when the price goes up 2x again.

And for gods sake before you ask a question about tendering shares on BTCT do some reading!! If you claim you've read and haven't seen anything you are full of shit.

This times a million. For fuck sake it is on PAGE ONE of this thread.

Yes, that is a fairly unreasonable request. Do you expect CEOs of large corporations to post up-to-the-minute updates about deals that they are brokering? I am pretty sure they wait until everything has been finalized and then send out a press release. People have also accused Ken of being shortsighted in many of his actions such as releasing new IPO shares at .0025 after the price had risen significantly. I would rather Ken take all the time he needs to make a proper announcement rather than rush incomplete information to the shareholders.
