Sold half this morning for an awesome profit and now holding my remaining (free) shares for the long term!
Thanks AMC!
Good thinking. I liquidated ASICMINER and btcQuick to buy nearly all-in on ActiveMining anticipating a huge increase after the IPO, and I'm waiting to cash out some of my shares for 67% profit and then diversify again. Really wishing I bought the shares on Btct.co now though since the volume drives the price crazy over there.

Unfortunately you can't outside of selling and repurchasing. They can only be tendered to Bitfunder and that offer expires soon.

Sell on BitFunder, and send BTC to BTCT, then buy AMC-PT. I would do it ASAP.

Seems like people buying in for a quick profit at the moment.  I hope it stabilises  around 0.004 and then creeps up more slowly, until the Avalons come online.

You silly sausage. You people need to do some research before throwing away good money like that. This company has only just got started, you are only seeing the tip of the iceberg so far.

As mentioned before in the thread, profit is to be made for long term investors and speculators. For the laters, that was today. The formers don't have to worry too much about price fluctuation since they are in for the long hold.
I would rather see a steady increase of price rather than a frenzy buy-in followed by a dump... but hey, not that bothered.

With so many outstanding shares, this is only the beginning.

Yea the cheap share cost and the number of outstanding is going to make this a high volatility stock.  That and the bid ask is often a few percentage points wide.

Yes, there is:

Anonymous, of course, like all of Bitcoin.

To liquidate anything  more than 10 or 20% of your holdings today is insane. Unless you need the cash do not do this. Hold and sell 10% after every 50% rise in value and you won't go far wrong.

I've only read about 3/4ths of this thread so far.  Was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me.

1. Has Ken provided detailed accounting yet, if not does he plan to?
2. What is the ETA on getting ActiveMiner listed on BTCT?  Last I heard only 1 more vote was needed?

1) Not yet. He has released a condensed statement once a month on the 15th, but he should be releasing more detailed ones as time goes on and the dust settles.
2) As soon as we get the 5th vote. We have 4 atm.

(I'm only kind of kidding...)

See here:

Hey Ken. I know it's only been 24 hours or so, but any chance you received my AMC shares on Bitfunder? information was sent via PM and email Smiley

thanks buddy!
He usually does the transfers once a week, the day before divs are paid.

I will be doing them in the morning.
