Anyone else tracking and counting down posts until the PR account is out of noobville? By my count it is now able to post anywhere.

This thread got boring pretty quick. Can't wait for some actual news so we can stop talking trollbox stuff.
So what can we expect this month? (Aug) 1) eAsic confirmation 2) Avalon chip shipment/build-out 3) ? 1) eAsic confirmation 2) Avalon chip shipment/build-out 3) ?? 4) Profit

Not necessarily, no. I would like to see more criteria than just the amount of shares held. You can have a lot of money and hold a lot of shares and be shit at helping run an enterprise. I'd like to see qualified individuals placed on the board. I can guarantee you that some of the people represented by these shares would not be interested in a board seat. Some of them might have the share count AND the skill set, though, and I'd be fine to give these individual preferential treatment in that regard.

Well yes that is the option previously mentioned and I believe these major shareholders have been approached but I'm sure most of them wouldn't want the commitment. If they are located all over the world how are they going to get to board meetings? So you might get one or two from that list.

I believe these major shareholders have been approached Nope. In that case if you feel you could apply yourself to the board there would be no harm in sending Ken or the PR guy your CV.

Hello, this is our first PR post for Active Mining and we are really excited to be able to bring you valuable information directly from Active Mining Corporation! I wanted to supply our first update on Ken’s travels and meetings with the Engineering firm in Oregon. First and foremost, the Avalon clones are operational (built using the 30 of the 60 sample chips we received), but here is a synopsis as to how we arrived here; the default TP-Link router, we thought initially, was a bit finicky, so we considered replacing it with a Raspberry Pi we had on hand. Ken and the Engineers worked with the prototypes over the two day duration, and eventually determined through rounds of tests that it was not the TP-Link, but the Controller Board which one of the Engineers discovered Friday. After jumping the first few hoops in our testing phase, we feel very comfortable about our clones, but there is still more testing to be performed. Currently the 30 chip prototype is hashing at 6 GH/s per board before being pushed to the normal 8GH/s per board, so that all hardware parts can be tested extensively. Ken did not return home empty handed, a prototype is on its way for him to bench with. He is planning on working with and tweaking this prototype to have it functioning optimally in time for the 20,000 chips to arrive from Avalon. Also, dividends on the shares that were tendered to AMC-TENDER are going to be paid to the tendering address, more on this to follow. So in short, while we wait on the delayed Avalon chip delivery, we will take advantage of this to test with the TP-Link further, asses stability, and continue our operations. Below are just a few pics that were taken of the Engineers working. http://i40.tinypic.com/b7aqv6.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/v5izrq.jpghttp://i43.tinypic.com/348hssk.jpgShort video: http://youtu.be/k-T1xt75jBs

Excellent update! Good to know that things are moving ahead with the Avalon clones.
When can we expect to hear more regarding the eAsic meetings?

30 chips = 8Gh/s 1 chip = 0.266 Gh/s
So 20,000 chips = 5.3 Th/s ?

30 chips = 8Gh/s 1 chip = 0.266 Gh/s
So 20,000 chips = 5.3 Th/s ?
I believe this is correct. Here is the quote from the Overview and Speculation thread in the Q&A section: A. Payment for the assembly of the 68 Klondike boards has been accepted as of July 3rd. The 20k Avalon chips are inbound as well. The immediate horizon estimates 6,377 GH/s by no later than the end of August.

This is great. Thanks to Ken and any others involved in getting us to this point and for acknowledging the value that another team member for PR, etc can provide. I do have to say that the pics and video are anticlimactic due to their lack of substance. No pics of Avalon chips or demo boards? No video of the device running next to a screen that shows how much it's hashing? I encourage the team to share meaningful photos and video otherwise there is no point and you're giving fodder to the FUDs.

Same here now I can relax
Hey, just received my transfer from AMC-TENDER
When did you guys send them to be tendered? I still haven't got mine. Sent them on 23/7. I will be looking for yours today. When they get out of sync, it takes a lot more work to get them verified and transferred. I will be working on the hard transfers today. Some have problems with usernames that are not correct, so I will be emailing the shareholder for any corrected information.

Can't wait until this whole manual tender issue is sorted once and for all. Appears to have been an enormous time sink.
