Price rising morew than X10 on the peak and many people fix they profit. Its a free market, sell if you want to sell or buy if you want to buy. And hodl if you want to hodl Grin

I prefer to read between the lines rather than adopting "free market" cliché statements.
It would be a free market if there would be more exchanges trading zero. Trading in only one rather average to small volume exchange, allows price manipulations by big whales.
I am not blaming anyone wishing to cash their profits, I am only being skeptical given the time chosen for someone to sell that kind of volume, granted we are waiting for an important update tomorrow, which could bring the price even higher.
Also, given that the price is fluctuating between 28 and 34K satoshis in the last few days, that someone who placed that 20k zero order could have sold at even higher prices without making this kind of wall.

We'll see tomorrow if this def is trustworthy, Demarsac is gonna kick your asses, i have never seen a more trustworthy dev in my life. He promises nothing he can't deliver and has been honest about everything that's happened with Zero. But don't take my word for it, just wait till news drops and verify before you buy.

I smell Masternodes :-)

lol, I would say not to get your hopes up; Since its been said that MasterNodes will not be implemented here... It's possible they decided to change their mind, but Demarsac did just say that new technology will be implemented. So that could mean a new substitute for MasterNodes, but Who knows what these Dev's got cook'in!

Can anyone even say why they think "masternodes" are so great? What field research has proven their efficacy? Just cause a coin's value rises, does not mean the code is worthy. It simply means the people have been led to believe so.

Most of these people manipulating the codebase (of other coins with "masternodes") are far  from experts! From what I have seen it is actually a scary thought allowing these self-proclaimed "devs" to re-write a codebase that received a $250,000 audit for their own entertainment and another "bell" or "whistle" with which to "woo" the audience into bidding up their coin.

I prefer the stability on a NON broken codebase. I wouldn't have invested in Zero if I saw it was extensively manipulated by amateurs.

Komodo is BROKEN at the core. Zcoin is BROKEN at the core. Who else has masternodes? I will go debunk their code. Just kidding it's a waste of my time. But I do have extensive experience with both of the mentioned coins and they are both miserably broken. Bugs that will not be seen by 99% of the users and when they are seen it will be too late.

One of my favorite things about Zero is that is ROCK SOLID. That's why Zero is my bank. It works great and there is no lag transmitting payments. What more could we ask for?

Yeh, everyone want this f....ing masternodes. I can't understand. They doesn't help the decentralization. Just a way to do staking and keep a lot of coin "locked" so the value can't drop so much.
But they are tricks... i don't like a coin with masternodes, if you need masternodes to grow means that you lacks somewhere.

HOPE new technology is something DAG related, maybe DAG+mining+privacy. But it could be too much..

Just a quick note from this one ....

GOOD VIBES to all Zero supporters !!

To anyone who is surprised Zero price has 10X'd and will continue... Why is this surprising? We have seen inferior coins performing with even higher value. Several simple Zcash clones are in the $60-$100 range. That means Zero is (currently) extremely undervalued, with that in mind. To reach $100 would be no big surprise. I am not speculating it is simply obvious comparison between similar coins.

Why is Zero better? It's a different experiment. Time will tell which is better as with all of the experiments in the cryptosphere. However, we don't need time to see that Zero is different. Diversity good. Sameness bad. In this scene we run 1000 experiments to see which will rise up and which will perform. Most of them are fluff and hype. Zero has real substance and character. Zero has community. Zero has true vision. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Replying to multiple questions:

Github will be updated on Sunday

There is a special Windows Optiminer version for 4GB AMD cards.

Mining instructions are found at each pool's website; You may also ask for help in the telegram group.

I don't know about OC 'ing cards in Ubuntu, but if you wanna use Linux, ethos is a very good alternative since it is made for mining and you can easily tamper voltage and clocks there.

If you get miner crashes using nvidia cards on Windows, then you ned to apply the mod found on page 4 of this thread.

Any actual supply numbers?  CMC shows 500k but that can't be true?

How many coins should there be after 5 years?  I know it's around 25mil after 10 but there is no breakdown inbetween.

static const CAmount MAX_MONEY = 100*365*24*31*10 ( for 100 years )

basically 24*31*10*365 = max coin 2.715.600 every year

Actually 7.200 coins are mined every day, no matter what. So take it from there.
