Yes, I know that my hashrate is embarrassingly very low (I am using a laptop). I just wanted to check if my wallet works properly because I am new in crypto world . Currently, my hashrate is a bit better When I mine 4 Dero, and I get it into my walllet then I will stop mining. The low hashrate makes sense as laptop CPUs, even the "fast" ones, are optimized for extreme power savings by default. Refresh your wallet balance - I just sent you 1 DERO so you don't have to wait 20+ days to find out if your wallet works or not. Great @MagicSmoker, In addition transfer few DERO for tests. Hope you have good start in crypto and your dreams see light. In addition PM your skills/interest, we can plan out something. Leave No Man Behind. Capt. Dero

Dero I can point a rig on that pool+address to help unlock the Dero they have already mined. I just want to make sure I wont disconnect them if I do that?

You won't disconnect existing but not required. If required will clear manually.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on Status update release 1 of DERO Blockchain As per your feedback New DERO Network Daemon is working great with 1/4th ram consumptions , without single sync problems or any other issues. Hope to deliver unmatched Blockchain with numerous day-to-utilities support. Pls visit more to learn and evaluate about it : https://github.com/deroproject/derosuiteThanks all for your support.

That's a heck of a lot of code written just over a month after the project launched. Great work!

In case you decide to kick things up a notch, break out your spice weasel or get an AMD Ryzen CPU or RX 560 or better GPU (AMD definitely has the edge in Cryptonote mining on the GPU side). In the meantime, you might want to download low-level hardware monitoring software (e.g. - HWInfo for Windows) to keep taps on the CPU temp.

How efficient is DERO mining at home computers? I have no extra budget to buy a professional mining machine, forgive me for ignorance of mining knowledge

You'll pretty much have to download a Cryptonote/Cryptonight miner to find out. My Ryzen 5 1600 is now doing >450 H/s average with XMR-stak in CPU-mining-only mode, but it took a lot of fiddling to get there without undue penalty to the computer's performance elsewhere (out of the box it did closer to 380 H/s). Claymore's CPU miner 3.9 is easier to set up, not quite as fast, but is much more adaptive to changes in load from you actually using the computer (that is, minimal hit to desktop interactivity); I get about 390-410 H/s out of it with the devfee disabled. My older AMD FX-8300 - the generation prior to Ryzen - does a respectable 300 H/s with Claymore; I haven't fiddled around with XMR-stak on it because it is just a bare motherboard that I mainly use for testing each GPU I acquire. However, my even older AMD Phenom II x4 955 - two generations back - barely manages 40 H/s and desktop interactivity is slowed to a crawl. I hear older Intel Xeon servers (in 19" rack mount cases) do pretty well at Cryptonight mining; I might pick up a few to find out as GPUs are insanely expensive right now.

Hi guys,
Could you please have a look at this-[spammy link removed]. And let me know if it can be improved?.
Well, one suggestion would be to post it in a more appropriate thread; this one is about DERO, not CREDITS...

Cryptonote in general does well with 2MB of cache per 1 core for mining. So if your CPU has 4MB cache the best setup with be 2 Threads for mining. Xeon's do well because they have a lot of cache.
