No, most likely not. I'm getting alternative heights of up to 41770 in my node. >200 blocks is quite the large difference. Are private pools causing the divergence?

Other cryptonote is also frequently fork.
Now it's not uncommon.
Because I saw it , I tried to report it.

Yes, private pools may very well be to blame for the incessant forking. In fact I wonder if this is not an attempt to execute a 51% attack? We don't currently have to worry since pool.dero.live now has >51% of the network hashrate, but that is not the usual case.

dero.live on its own chain, no gaps between blocks: http://pool.dero.live/#pool_blocks
explorer does not show its blocks either

probably need to spread the hash around a bit instead of concentrating it all on one pool.

Yeah, I was just about to update my previous post that the last payment from the pool apparently failed:

http://explorer.dero.io/tx/e38a6f1abf8ff477c7b5c3fa31e2c1f2adccb6baab5eafb58904fd3b0d69ffe3

And so pool.dero.live seems to have wandered off on its own once again. Okay, redirecting my mining rig to something else until CaptDero and friends come up with a solution.

We would suggest everyone to stop mining DERO, until fork issues will be solved.  Angry

We suggest dev team to cover all miners loses, caused by these everyday forks, until issue will be solved.
The DERO daemon experience continuous fork issues, any pool can appear on the wrong chain any time, do mining at your own risk (better do not)!

Every pool on its own chain now.

Update: dero.miner.rocks stopped until daemon will be fixed

for normal users, i think the best way to avoid fork is don't run daemon.... just wait until the fork issued been solved.
I have to delete the 2.5Gb chain data to re-sync again just because of the fork today.

that depends on the pool settings, official pool don't allow payment to exchange directly.

So if any more proof was needed that the official pool is off in la-la-land it has 6.11 MH/s while the entire network only has 4.98 MH/s...  Undecided

Hello,
Thanks for patience.
Will take care of all issues in next 24 hrs.

Pls rebuild your daemon: https://github.com/deroproject/dero

Prebuilt Linux daemon binary can be downloaded from: https://github.com/deroproject/dero/releases/download/v0.11.4/derod_linux_amd64.tar.xz

Windows binary will be updated in next few hrs.

Pls mine on official pool only, till full forking issue is solved.

Use following option to sync:
derod --add-exclusive-node 89.38.97.110:18090 --add-priority-node 89.38.97.110:18090

--------------UPDATE--------------

Hello everyone, I've had an opportunity to review support's posts and talk to him briefly. The fork issue will be resolved within the next 24 hours for anyone who may have missed it.

There are only two nodes that we're recommending at this time if you're having synchronization issues.  --add-exclusive-node 89.38.97.110:18090 --add-priority-node 89.38.97.110:18090

There is a new linux daemon (v.0.11.4) here: https://github.com/deroproject/dero/releases/download/v0.11.4/derod_linux_amd64.tar.xz

The new windows daemon will be live in under 24 hours.
