Do not be fooled by the market cap. It is just a mere multiplication of the current price and the total circulating supply and nothing else. Thus, the market cap is not there to dictate the past, current, nor future price but rather, the market cap is there because there is a price.
Simply saying, there is no limit in Bitcoin's price. The price will continue to increase as long as the demand is constantly increasing.

About the market cap, bitcoin cannot reach the same amount. If what you are referring to is for 1 BTC to be equivalent of say 219000000. If that is the case then answer is Yes and No, It may reach that amount but it will take a very long time. The price is dependent on the law of supply and demand, meaning to say that if there is no demand then it will not reach the said price and if ever it reaches that price market cap by that time will also double or triple the current price.

With gold's total market cap being estimated at USD 7.8 trillion I guess the upper limit of BTC's price would be around USD 370,000 (at USD's current purchasing power) simply because I can not fathom all of BTC to be worth more than all the gold in the world. However there is a lot of fiat currency in the world, all of which gets issued more or less out of thin air, trying to more or less successfully reflect the effective wealth of global economies. So relative to fiat the sky is the limit.

Then again for all we know people could just lose interest in cryptocurrencies as fast as they have gained it, and in 10 years time we'll be shaking our heads at our own naivité while trading coins that are worth only fractions of current levels. Not that I expect such a thing, but reality rarely turns out as expected.

I don't know the answer for sure but marketcap doesn't mean that there is 200 billion dollars liquidity and it could pay every bitcoin holder. Hypothetically, If everyone decides to cash out at once, then the last person will be the one with bitcoin only worth whatever the current buy/ask price is (likely crashing the market).  Bitcoin can go as high as the person who wants to purchase the price at the seller's rate.

A coin can never be worth more than its market cap because the market cap is just showing what the total amount of value a crypto (or stock/commodity) has in potential value at any one moment, so there's no "cap" for the value a market can have beyond that which the market caps it at. Nothing can ever be worth more than its market cap, it will only ever be at the lowest a 1:1 ratio and nothing less, never a 1:0.[X] ratio or anything close to that, ever.

Hypothetically the value of an investment is limited based on the amount of fiat money that exists but it can always have unrealized value for the market cap.

First of all, no, its value can not be same as its market cap because thats just not possible to trade in that way. There always needs great amount of money to be circulating in the market as people are selling and buying at the same time. So you may need to spend more money for seller if they are greater in number then the balance disrupts a lot. Thats why it can't be same.

Prices for the coin do depend on the market cap but it will never be dependent upon the fiat viable in the world. There is no linking between both of them and they could just be irrespective investment funds.

For bitcoin to reach the number you shown above, it will take huge percentage of population to invest into BTC and then hold it even after the 21 million BTC are circulated and mined. Then we could think something like that.

It still depends on the cap of the fiat money that exists. Remember, its worth cannot be more than the market cap because the market cap depends on the FIAT money. Without fiat money, cryptocurrencies will be useless.

You are confusing yourself. The value of the market cap of Bitcoin is the overall value of all the circulating supply of Bitcoin. Meaning to say, if you multiply all the circulating supply of Bitcoin and its current price you will come up with the market cap value. This is the same to all coins. The market cap has no limit. The bitcoin market cap does not dictate the price.  But if you are interested in where the price of bitcoin could go, I would say 50k-100k is not out of the question.  People never in a million years would have though bitcoin would have reached 1k.  But it did and then it hit 10k and then even 20k.  These prices would have been considered imaginary just a few years ago so there is no telling how high they can get a few years from now.

How far can Bitcoin go guys? If the the Market Cap currently is $219 000 000 000, can Bitcoin ever be worth $200 000 000 000 with this market cap?

I am just curious, is the Bitcoin (or any coin) price caped by the Market Cap? Or the finite number of fiat money in the world?
Can a coin be worth more than it's market cap or can the value of a coin be equal with it's market cap if it's intensively traded/used?

There's no way of knowing for sure. There are some factors that may affect the life span of bitcoin. We should not worry about it's value that much because it will go back up eventually. What I am more worried about is how the government will see it as a threat and will start to ban it, heavens forbid.
