What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?

My mentallity after a huge loss is i would still hold my coin investment because since i am a long term investor i know my coins would recover and i will earn profit later on.

First reaction - I am frustrated and depressed. However very soon I try to do everything to avoid mistakes and trade again.

That's also me and after its sinked to me what happened I move on little by little and take a break from it and just come back when I'm already fine.
While starting all over again and have a positive outlook is a must.
Keep trying and learning about trading until you can completely mastered it .
A huge lost should be your biggest lesson , but yeaaa people usually cannot survive on that kind bad experience.
They choose to stop it immediately rather than looking for another way to make it back profitable.

the first time I suffered a big loss I felt so desperate, I lost 60% of the funds I had because of a mistake in doing hold. but right now I am starting to ventured back into the trade thanks to the support of my friends. hopefully that bad thing will never happen again.

Huge losses aren't really a thing for me since i have never made a huge investment in any project or altcoin because i can't simply take that risk . People often risk money that they can't afford loosing and that's a huge mistake especially if you are still in the beginning of your trading career . Even tho i know that my small investment won't get me as much profit as i'm seeking but i think that over time i'll be able to go all in with the sum of all those "little profits" .

Everything depends on the character of the person, many I think, will want to analyze their actions and all the miscalculations and already make a completely different scenario. And others would simply find a replacement with less risk.
It especially depend on the circumstances of that person and whether he can afford to loose that money or not , because for some people it is very hard to recover from a huge loss not just mentally , but also financially especially people who are new to the field and that have invested money that is necessary to satisfy their basic life needs so they are getting a loan or borrowing from someone to cover their losses which might not be beneficial or encouraging as a 1st experience for somebody who just started his business .

If it's up to me i'll certainly try to win back the money because there's always alternative solutions and many good projects that just lack people to believe in them and give them the needed support to succeed .

I take a break - step back and look at what happened.  I will typically try and talk through with someone what happened so I can see if it makes sense or not.

Losing money is a normal part of trading, hence the saying only invest/trade what you can afford to lose. After my first significant loss, I didn’t know what to do for I lost 90% of my investment. But then again, quitting should never be an option, I took a rest for a week and I was back at it again. Best tip is to learn from your mistakes and never get tired of researching/learning before taking actions.

I think you should take a long break to calm you all down than just short break.

I took a hit on Saturday. Thankfully, I'm good at managing my emotions. When this happens, I make it a point to review my trades and find and learn from the mistakes I made. Use losses and mistakes as learning tools and you will earn more in the long run.

I know trading is always unpredictable and risky. So I do trading with that amount which I can afford to lose.So I.do trades with small amount so that I can be strong mentally after lose.Again, losing is always painful, no matter how stronger you are.

After huge loss,I do take some break from trading.I go to a long tour or join some late night party. In this case my friends helped me a lot.

Anyway, any investment is always risky. And It does need some luck also to be  succeeded. We can't do whatever we like always. This is a truth and we have to consider this anyhow.
earning on a crypto currency is always a risk, because today the price is one, and tomorrow 2. Therefore, investment is risky earnings, if you do not have enough good information.

Every time you lose, you can overcome a failure, setting long-term goals and waiting to touch your dreams.
Failures are so much great if you are making better results out of them. There are some quotes about this and I am quoting one here, “Either you win or you learn”. Mistakes are part of winning, there is no one on this planet earth who is succeeding but don’t learn from his mistakes. Peruse your dreams and don’t get disappointed because that will work as an accelerator in your success race.
It really make disappointment and it broke a heart last year it happen with me and unfortunately last week it happen with one of my friend and he sell bitcoin without checking the price of it and in that dealing he loss a lot of money then it easy very hard for him to come back and for one week he stop he work because he was disturbed with lose so I agree with you that when someone loss a huge amount of money so it’s very hard for him to come back.

Get our money? As in gaining it back after losing? That's how gamblers also think after losing big time -- winning back mentality is nothing but a sign of your weakness. If trading will only result in continuous losses, and that throughout a longer period of time, it obviously means something, and that's you not being suitable to continue your trading practices. If you keep going on with it anyway, you are a danger to yourself, it's simple as that. People should understand and respect their shortcomings instead of forcing themselves to do something that doesn't work out, and will only put them further in the hole.

of course i will try it again in the future,
i will never give up because i already set my goal for future and fail or give up is not an option for me.
as a trader it's a normal thing to lose something whenever we're doing our trades.
even an expert sometime lose some of their money in the process.
my piece of advice if you're new in trading and got a huge loss lately,
take a rest for a day or two days to stabilize your emotion and set your goal for future.
what is the reason you do the trade ? and what is the problem that caused you to lose that much.
learn from your mistake,
i believe you will understand and get used into it.

That's the thing about losing, for most people, they would want to be aggressive and do something different in order to succeed next time. The most important thing to take note after suffering a big loss is to take it slow and realize what went wrong that caused the loss. I mean, there are some things that happen for a reason and some that don't, you can actually experience a loss due to a cruel twist of faith. Even if you use all your experience in trading or follow the prevailing market trends, there are times when you would still lose some. I guess, just charge it to experience and use that to avoid more loses.

I stay positive that i will recover that money again in my future trading. If i always think of that loses, my focus will be gone and i will not perform well then it will result to another loss if i continue trading with my mood being bad. I will just need to focus and try to recover it slowly and i will just forget that i loss because it will just a hindrance in trading again.

The loss I have experienced was the scam and haven't got paid for 3 weeks. And I considered it as a big loss.
Well it did not stop me from continuing. Instead it gave me more reason why should I keep working hard. Even if I do not have enough knowledge, I push myself to somehow contribute to this forum.
I think that would explain my mentality towards loss

More people suffer depression after a huge loss like i do but whenever i get loss, i think about the possibilities of earning it back again by continuing trading with a different strategy.

DABDA

this is what happen when i lost in gambling!

denial-  first i will say it isnt over yet. i can recover. The time when you refuse to accept that the relationship with the gambling site has already ended.

anger- i will get angry to my self !  i should have withdraw that amount. im already winning. the time when you just want to throw things at walls or smash that computer monitor

bargaining - admin, oh god of all gods please let we win. i promise i will withdraw  and stop gambling

Depression-This is the time when all you can do is think about your past. This is the time when you cry a lot and refuse to socialize with other people and just listen to sad songs all of the time. This may be the most difficult part but it is considered as the start of moving-on.

acceptance - okay, i loss. When you have accepted the reality that you are now a broke ass man
