What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?

Well we can't deny the fact that after experiencing a huge loss we feel traumatic but then again it is not the reason to stop trading or investing or taking a risk. But we should be thankful with this failure because there is something that sink in our mind or a lesson that we learned from it. So if we try to invest again then we will be more careful and apply those learnings.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Exactly. You should always learn from the mistakes that you've made as you move on with your life. Those mistakes is what makes you a better person, a better trader in this case. Because if you just keep on making mistakes without learning from it. You'll definitely won't reach anything. You'll become a failure.

Sometimes I can't control my emotion after a major loss, I have mix emotions for myself and sometimes I feel so stupid. Also it always took a while for it to sink in my mind like I can't believe that it really happened. But of course I'm trying to control and manage all of it so what I'm doing is to have a break from it, try to unwind and picking up my thoughts. Sometimes trading make us go crazy tho. Grin

Always have a Plan B regarding on this kind of situations on where you should have a back-up plan when you do lose up money specially on big amounts.I know that most of us would really lose interest, stressing so much ourselves but we should really accept the fact that it is always been part of the risk on losing money. In this case, you should remain calm and think off on other way on how to recover its either still on doing trading or engaging into another thing.
Plan B is always good as it helps to recover at least from the craziness of the trade. Huge loss can be crazy and there is no trader one way or the other, either at an early stage or later on, that has not experienced a huge loss before. Shit happens, but how to deal with the shit after it happens is what really counts and plan B most especially in looking for another better trade after getting out of that one is what counts.

First you need to rest and clear your mind. And then analysis why you lose,  learn from your lose. Don't give up.

That's why we really need a presumptuous attitude towards trading or in any online activities, that's why people here keep on telling that risk only what we afford to lose, even we know that it's hard to do but sometimes we didn't get what we wanted, just always keep going and learn to stand up and move on, know that orhers already made it, so we can still also success on it, in time.

Honestly, loss sucks but what can we do. This is something we just have to accept as traders. We cannot just have a 100% perfect trade all the time but at least when you are good, you will get the best of your trade and even get back more than what you lost rather than just sobbing about it. I remembered how I lost so much recently on my set order while sleeping, which was about 60% of my trade amount, it was shitty, but it is just part of it and all the mistake I did or bittrex did for me was the stop loss that I set not working but then karma being a bitch, I got back more than I even lost the next day.

keep on going bro, nothing stops even in losing trades, if in trade just want to lose do not have to trade, I think coin there is no death, sometimes up sometimes down value, now there are still many opportunities to be able to see profits and victories, stop trading is stupid. to see all possibilities we have to do research and read. with reaseach we can know more and will learn more, are we going to lose continuously Huh we can minimize defeat if we are able to read the opportunity, read the situation, if you follow ponzi or scam project with the desire to achieve profit in short time to eat the possibility of defeat to you very big, but if you patiently membca situation and opportunity to hold your insvetasi I am sure you will have a bigger chance .. so lose our pub relax

It depends on my trade history, if I was able to double my investment previously and I experience a huge loss, I would definitely invest again and avoid the mistakes I have done
You have mentioned a good point. Indeed it hugely depends on the type of experience you had with that particular investment. If the loss has been because of your mistake, it could be recovered but if it is just because of faulty nature of investment, you cannot get your money back.

This is the reason so many people are after bitcoin because they know if they face loss here, it is because of their mistake, not of bitcoin.

About 5 years ago I was try to trade with OIL and I lose it all. Because the price dropped so hard. At first I feel pretty bad and I didn't tell anyone about that. Then I was only thinking should I invest more and try getting back that money on other investment. But no I just stopped with trading on markets , then I find out about bitcoin and start investing again. But now I invest only 20% amount that I earned on bitcoin investment, so if I lose it won't hurt that much.

I know that it is hard for us if we lose our money in trading. Some people are now quitting in trading because of the loses that they experienced. I believe that loses is part to become a good trader. We need to experienced losing in trading for us to become a better trader.

Definitely you are taking about trading , where most of the people are getting much loss Because of the dump in the market of altcoins Because of the increase in the market of bitcoin .
Here I myself lost much but have not disappointment of loss Because value in fiat is still in better amount and I don't have loss have net gain .
Here surely I like to change my stretagy of investment , currently my idea of stop loss is to stop reading Because the market of bitcoin is stable from 3 to 4 days only , so here I am waiting from better stability in bitcoin's  price  , and then start to make investment in much dumped coin and recovery and make profit is easy.

I quit for several months after my very first devastating loss (roughly 30% of my account). I came back after clearing my head and pushed myself to really learn the realistic way of trading instead of being dependent on the opinions of other 'experts'.

Trading is always something which is so risky. You are not in profit for sure anytime. But you have vast knowledge of trading you will never fall down in huge loss. If you invest after loss and loss it will make you panic.  So be patient after losses a few and take a break for understanding the market.I actually do this. So my suggestion will be take break after a big loss either it will make panic and you lose more.

I will never give up and stop trading, it hurts when get huge loss but it is normal, everything must be have a risk, and loss will make me learn more so I will not experience the same thing again.
We should not easily stop because of experiencing some mistakes which is actually normal on these kind of situations and also these things will really mold us up to be a better trader and we should put up on our minds that we should learn on our mistakes and thinking off for those loses are just fees on your learning journey. The best thing to do is to minimize loss and for sure you would able to do that because you are already aware on your past mistakes.
Every single mistake is a stepping stone to getting better. There is no trader that has never made a mistake in the past, but over time, they get better at what they do and then learn from any other mistake that comes. There is something to learn from every trade whether successful or not and huge losses are no different. It won't just be right repeating the same mistakes twice because that would then make one dumb.

Exactly, being anxious after a loss wanting to recover the amount quickly would be a very bad state of mind when trading. In fact, it's one of the most dangerous behaviors of traders.
