I am always calm after every big loss but I am determined to keep because if you sell means you have accepted the loss of profit and this is not good because you can be affected much psychologically and maybe you will be very sad

I've suffered quite some losses while trying to daytrade. It actually didnt affect my mind too much, I just realized that its stupid to try to do this without the neccessary skills. I just shifted my strategy and am more or less holding only now. I still do trade but only for learning purposes and with way less money, so if I suffer a loss with that money, it wont hurt me much.
As it is with every aspect of life, to master something, we first got to fail in every aspect. So its better to get up again after falling and trying again and again instead of just giving up on the thing we tried to achieve, because if we do so, we will never achieve it!

When experiencing a huge loss the mentality I have is to move on and take it as a lesson. In trading we may experience lose or win, so before you join in make sure that you are determined to win. And looking forward for another trade that I will achieve to success, so better accept the challenges and be determined to take profit.

Just like gambling, when I have a huge loss like when I waited for the IGNIS airdrop and hold on to NXT, I made a huge loss on that airdrop, I think 40% of my trading funds was lost so my initial reaction was to transfer some funds from my BTC savings and recover, but after scouring the market list to see what coin I think will pump in 24-48 hours, I gave up and just wait for the airdrop and also wait for another oppurtunity.

I'm a crypto currency trader. When i learn about trading on that time i lose my huge money but i'm never Give up because i know today or Tomorrow i'm will be a good trader after 3 year now i'm a good trader but when i'm lose huge money on that i'm just take a rest and stop my trading on that time.

If I had a big loss too early to give up, I'm not mentally thin like a useless coin. Since I do business in trade I had a loss but not big just still be for me try, then in trading not just mentally tested but money and more money then you will be king.

At the beginning when I was losing money I was not feeling well, I was a little depressed, then I learned to emotionally detach myself from trading and that money and now it's better.
The only thing which can help you from recovering that loss is not to lose heart and invest after some period of time. If you will give each and everything, then there will be no other possible way to recover that amount which you lost. You need to learn from your mistakes and remain motivated. Make a better strategy afterwards and then keep working hard in order to make things happen as per your desire. |

Usually when i started and develop a huge interest in crypto whenever i have a huge lose i felt like quitting and that i couldn't make money in crypto but it was i matter of time before i got this winning momentum and everything changed for good.

Not really my TRON profit went from 7k to 3k didnt want to sell until they raise to 1$ so i will be there for the long run .
There is nothing to deny this thing that one feels bad once he suffer some kind of loss. The only thing which can help you at that time is to relax for some period of time. After that, make a better strategy and then put in your best in order to make things happen in a way you wanted to take the things. Learn from your past mistakes and try not to repeat the similar kind of mistakes in the near future. |

I suffered loss of 0.6 BTC last year.
What I did is research a very potential coin wish low marketcap and all in at that coin.
Ups and downs are the part of life. No one has perfect life, we all need to commit mistakes in order to learn new things. This is great if you did not give up on your dreams and keep trading after losses. I am sure you had learned big things from your mistakes by now and doing fine in trading now. Persistence makes you stand in the crowd of stragglers. My all best wishes are with you. May you achieve all your dreams! |

Stop for a while and think about my mistakes, study the market and go back to trading.
This is very wise decision because when we have huge loss, our mentality is loss. Learn from mistake and dont fall to the same hole. Stop a while and take refreshing, going some where that you feel good place to throw all of your mind about loss then back to trading with fresh mind and like new. |

I watch BTC charts and get back to my holdings (Blockfolio and Cryptocompare) only when the market settles. Don't want to be part of weak hands and display FUD as in the past.

I watch BTC charts and get back to my holdings (Blockfolio and Cryptocompare) only when the market settles. Don't want to be part of weak hands and display FUD as in the past.
Glad I already controled my panic attack or nervousness. When I am new to trading, it really affects me after having a big loss. But now I m used to it already, I can still manage to smile after a big price dump. I am just silent if I have losses and hoping the market will recover soon. |

What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?
I am a person who is easily scared and traumatized, I think if I suffer a loss then I do not have to repeat it again I better find another way or work that will benefit me. |

This strategy may be a good one only for a few of the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and a very few other. There is a large number of people who have experienced a total loss over the years now these currencies are nowhere on the lists and just vanished. I guess for a normal dip in the price people can afford to lose but if there is abnormal growth or abnormal drop then immediately go for the sale. Only don’t practice it with Bitcoin because everyone know that sooner or later Bitcoin price will boost again. |
