No,Bitcoin just on its journey which will never end.Actually government have threat that Bitcoin will disturb the whole economy and financial activities because Bitcoin is decentralized blockchain based technology and no one can control it.

Bitcoin is the big revolution in financial sector and it is expected in future Bitcoin will global currency and government will realize that Bitcoin is best for stable economy.

I have seen many people say that Bitcoin will end governments.

But do we really want that?

And if yes how would things like infrastructure be provided without a government? (This is just an example, you can discuss any issue you see fit for this topic)

I've also read articles discussing bitcoins, but i think it wasnt made to do that. It would be just a colateral if so.

Bitcoin to end government is a very declaration. Bitcoin cannot end government rather it would put an end to the sole Monopoly of the banks on the people. With blockchain technology and decentration, people got freedom to do whatsoever and however it pleases them. This is what the Bitcoin technology has come to preach.

The goal of Bitcoin is financial inclusion for the 40% of people in the world who don't even have a bank account.

First and foremost bitcoin's goal is to transformed global finance the way the internet or world wide web changed the flow in online market. Generally, bitcoin's doesn't have any goal to change and control the governments.

To end goverment is really not related to the goal of blockchain. The aim of bitcoin is to use in real world. They want to change the traditional banking syste, that is the purpose why a lot of you coin now. They insist that Blockchain is better than Bank in term of transaction fee, speed and you can directly transact to people anytime anywhere in world.

Thanks to the blockchain, the government's work will become transparent. It will be perfectly clear where, where and how much money goes

I think Bitcoin will be the main currency in the world in the future. When it happens, governments will be more transparent. Banks will not be able to stop Bitcoin in the future and they will go bankrupt.

Bitcoin gains more power as governments and federal reserve central banks cause more inflation. So while it won't end government, because we need new laws and leaders to sustain society in general, it definitely provides a check and balance to how they can print and spend money. In Venezuela for example the government completely ruined their fiat currency so now the citizens are using Bitcoin just as a means of survival.

I don't know where that idea came from. You can never run a country using bitcoin, if you know what I mean.

Bitcoin can not be controlled and can not be lowered. No one cares what the government is doing. Where they get tired and in the end they will lose hope. So bitcoin can end the government impractically to happen but slowly. Cool

Bitcoin will not end the government because it's not Bitcoin's goal. The main purpose of Bitcoin is to facilitate the exchange of money at a minimal cost by anyone anytime and anywhere. So it will not end the government. But the government must support and if necessary create rules that can be mutually beneficial.

Well, it is not the goal of bitcoin to end the government and that is for sure, the first thing that came up in my mind is that bitcoin really has something to deal with the online transactions, their main goal is to make life easier by easily transacting payments, online money transfers with less paper work.

The most dangerous thing of goverments is they are reducing the trusts of investors in Bitcoin which means there will be less people trust Bitcoin, want to own Bitcoins and all of them just want to sell it instead of buying.

Yeah i'm totally agreed, Bitcoin was made for a better opportunity in exchanging and trading between peer-to-peer. It wasn't born for any kind of polistic purpose at all. It's all cause of other's imaginations that Bitcoin was born for something like polistics.

Bitcoin goal is not to end the government its impossible to happen bitcoin is only a digital currency. The goal of a bitcoin is to change the way of living in one country by its platform of being decentralized, to make an easy method of payment compare to cash and to use it as a business platform to help the poverty in one country. So bitcoin will never ever change or end the government but to develop more and to improve one country.

End banks, yes, because bitcoin doesn't need banks to be used. But i don't thinl bitcoin will end governments, because governments don't only have to regulate money in a country, and apart from economy, other ministries still need to be organised and bitcoin won't play a major role there.
bitcoin is innovation. ANy banks and financial institution that ignores bitcoin and cryptos will be left behind in the development. This new tech of blockchain is secure and transparent. Most banks and govt are closed to public views of their financial statement. That is why some govt and banks are affraid of bitcoin because of miss management in the financial sectors.
