It won't be so easy to copy what they're doing because they spend a lot amount of time trying to build this and running test with it. Perhaps the next competitor who will try to do this will be after 2 or maybe 3 years later

RED Platform is a decentralized energy trading platform on the blockchain. It offers Peer to Peer direct energy trading between energy consumers and energy producers. The WiFi Smart meters will be installed in consumers' homes and will be able to register energy consumption in real time on the SWAZM blockchain. This is huge.

I think that their partnership with SWAZM saved for a lot of troubles or maybe it even saved the company. I don't know what they would have done if they didn't make this partnership. Probably they would have ended up like many others projects in the blockchain

From what I'm reading here, RED's platform is a marketplace for energy, it's as simple as that who also lets you pay for the energy with cryptocurrencies. Is there another platform like this ? So far I know that the consumer is able to sell the energy produced by the solar panels, back to the supplier

I mean the people who want to interact with the platform or even more if they want to be a prosumer should have done some basic research about this and should have some knowledge in this field
