why to buy from reseller at a higher price, when you can buy directly from manufacturer?  Grin

6 units minimum order? not everyone has 22k onwards to spend

but there are no official news from baikal concerning minimum order and price. All of this is just speculation at this moment.

I got this:

Hi,

Thank you for your contacting.

Giant-B Price: 3600usd/pc (shipping charge not included)
Delivery date: The end of January
Payment method: Bank transfer USD dollar Only
Minimum order quantity: 6 units
Kindly note for this batch is no discount available.

Note the Power supply is not included, so you have to get it by yourself. For one Ginat-B, we recommend 600 Watt PSU.
Shipping will be DHL/UPS.

Best regards.

How come you have two options in the site, $3999 and $5999 who would go with the second one?

When D3 batch was released around early Aug 2017, Dash coin price was around USD190.
4 months after that Dash coin price went up 5x to around USD1,000 due to spike in difficulty level.

LBRY coin's price has been going up steadily from around USD0.25 to almost USD0.53 now(18th Dec).
Does it mean after say Feb'18, LBRY prices will go up as well to make USD2? As 40 GH per asic unit is going to shoot through the roof and make GPU mining almost impossible to make a decent profit.

Should we start buying more LBRY coin to keep?

So for those of us that don't remember or know about the difficulty jump the D3 caused here's what I'm figuring.  I don't really follow LBRY, but currently according to https://miningpoollists.com/lbry/ is 4.7th but https://whattomine.com/coins/164-lbc-lbry claims it is at 8.5th currently.  So let's go with 8th just for giggles.  If the Giant-B mines LBRY at 40gh each today whattomine says that's roughly $485 today.  I don't know how many Giant-Bs there are in batch one but it would be nice if they provided this information but that would probably hurt their sales.  So let's say they release 1000 of these in batch one. That would mean an additional 40gh x 1000 hash on to the network.  That's 40Th added to the network.  Let's also assume the current 8Th mines something else now because something else is more profitable now.  So 40Th is 5 times the current hash rate.  That means you get 1/5th of the $485 they say per day or $97 per day assuming prices stay the same.  But really are they only going to make 1000 of these?  I doubt it.  Let's say it's 5000 of them.  5000 x 40Gh = 200Th.  200Th is 25 times the current 8Th which means $19.40 per day.  At 10,000 units shipped 400Th you get $9.70 per day.  You can calculate the same for the other algos.  Maybe they will make less maybe they will make more who knows.  I'm sure some people will mine other algos but most people will mine the most profitable which is LBRY right now.  Many other factors to consider as well.

tldr

Current LBRY hashrate according to whattomine: 8Th
Current profit at 40Gh with network hash rate at 8th: $485 / day
Hash rate of 10,000 Giant B: 400Th
Profit with at 40Gh with network hash rate at 400Th: $9.70 / day

Good point. I don't think baikal has ability to make 10 000 units per batch, but of course they will make more than 1000 units per batch. Let's say they make 5000 units per batch. Total hashrate for lbry will be 200 th. But i don't think all miners will mine lbry after diff increase. Pascal coin has 27 th network rate and dcr - 400 th network rate. So some power will go to those algo's for sure. Just no one knows how much. What is 100 % sure, that profit won't be $562.23 as whattomine shows at the moment for lbry algo Smiley Ofr corse pricei nclrease in dcr, pascal and lbry would help to get good roi and after diff spike.

And nobody takes in account that Asicminingmarket, will hash the shit out of every profitable algo, making sure that the daily yield will become barely profitable for the suckers who bought the miners.

I think its better to buy the coins and triple your money by the time baikal and amm will start to deliver the miners....

so..is it gonna be the usual cluster f*ck on how to order thru skype....I've tried that at least 2 times on 2 diff batches back in the day..and assured all was well

just to get an email from the actual folk (that don't accept emails) that oops....they screwed up and don't send etc etc....

that was annoying

then I guess the last orders on some such, they were not firm on price and playing 'let's negotiate' on skype

and of course, this is kinda moot because the price look  'sucky' to bring up a 3rd-grade curse to match their sales dept skills....

You realize people can host websites in different places than the country they reside in and Bittawm just made this website for sales a short time ago? He has confirmed he owns the website and that it is legit.
